We stayed one night at the Pine and Picket on our way to Ucluelet and wished we had stayed at least one more. The two rooms in the house were nicely set up and separate from the rest of the house. Between the rooms was a pleasant sitting area with coffee and tea available. However, the highlight of the stay was the breakfast which was the best we had ever had in a B&B. Fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, scones to start followed by eggs Benedict perfectly cooked. I advised Ania that I was wheat intolerant and a wheat free scone appeared which was so good we asked for and received the recipe. All in all this place deserves 5 stars.

Comfy room(we had the Provence), very friendly and helpful hosts, and the gourmet breakfast prepared with our dietary restrictions was out of this world! Truly, we were astonished at the quality of the food — we would go back just for the amazing breakfast! And very reasonably priced for the quality!

Beautiful location, extremely friendly folks, literally 5 min from the ferry but not noisy, nice accommodations, and did i mention the yummy breakfast made by a chef? Enough said

A lovely and relaxing place to stay. This b&b is a few minute walk from the ferry at Departure Bay – very convenient. The view of the bay is very nice. I stayed in the Provence room, which has a private bath and a lovely sitting balcony where you can admire the Salish Sea. The room is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Ania’s food is awesome… yummy scones, raspberry butter, quince jelly… yum! Her eggs Benedict are fabulous. Ania and Ingvar are warm and friendly hosts. I highly recommend Pine & Picket!
