Putting Edge

It was ok. I’d rather putt outside. It would be ok for two but not a group. Maybe my kids will like it, but it just wasn’t for me.

I have never been much of a mini putt player, but The Putting Edge was really fun! Like Andrea B said, this is a great place for a date night!
Arrived around five on a Friday night with my «other half», and it was not that busy. There was a group of kids that were on their last holes, and one couple ahead of us.
The music was awesome, they played a lot of rap and classic rock, definitely got me in the mood to go dancing or have some drinks. Too bad they do not have a little restaurant/​bar inside there to grab some drinks or snacks after playing a round. I would def stick around that place longer if I could drink a couple cocktails!
I’d like to think of my hubz and I as being fast players, so 18 holes took us maybe 30 minutes. Be prepared to wait a bit if there are players in front of you.
FYI, there is closet to hang your jackets at the entrance, but the lockers cost $ 1.00 to use if you need a locker for you purse/​bags.
Also, since it is is glow in the dark mini put, wear white or fun colors! ;)

What an awesome date night! I’ve driven by this place a bunch of times, but we always end up somewhere else on our night’s out. I’ve always thought glow in the dark mini putt would be fun though, so when the boyfriend suggested it, I got psyched. And competitive.
This place is tucked behind Merivale, near the 24 hour Good Life and Canada Computers. The music is pumpin’ when you walk in (yeah, I felt slightly old), and you’re greated by a friendly group of young adults when glow in the dark bracelets, clubs and glow in the dark balls. We paid $ 30 for the two of us, and played 18 holes.
I have to say the artistic aspect of this place is unreal. The neon paint is so cool, and they have some really great holes like the sword in the stone and the volcano. The holes weren’t super challenging, but they were fun enough to make you work a bit.
The place was pretty busy at around 9 p.m. but not crazy. While mini putt was an experience, my favourite part of the night was the arcade games. They have a pretty good selection, including Deal or No Deal, Dance Dance Revolution, Basketball, Football, Air Hockey and tons more. I love getting a little competitive and having some teenage style fun once and awhile.
There’s not really any food to speak of here, so don’t come hungry. They do have some fun sugary snacks though (um, hellooo giant slushies!) and I saw them setting up for a birthday party. So cute.
Totally recommend hitting this place up if you’re looking for a fun date night, or night of tame fun with friends.
