This Frenchies isn’t associated with the GUY’S chain of thrifts. I think Lee is on his own. I really like this spot though, even if it isn’t an authentic Guy’s. I don’t mind, I love and embrace all thrifts equally. There are so many bins of clothes in here it’s crazy, which is good because it means they don’t over pack the bins and it makes it easier to dig through the clothes. Therefor saving your arm strength for more important endeavors such as arm wrestling competitions. The location is huge, and even though it’s not a Guy’s like I mentioned a million times, they still dump new items on the hour. If you’ve ever been to a Guy’s Frenchies on the South Shore on a Saturday, you will know the full power of an on the hour clothing dump. It can get mean. Those old thrift ladies are vicious. Lee’s is so big that it never feels crowded, or many there aren’t a lot of people who visit this location. Either way, I didn’t have any brawls on the hour. I don’t know why it’s not more crowded, I never leave here without finding at least a couple diamonds in the rough. I have to take off a star because the last time I was there with my mom someone hit her car in the parking lot, which is more like an empty dirt lot, and didn’t even come into the store. Needless to say it’s not Lee’s fault but it did sour our last visit there, and she said she’d never go back. So be warned! Careful of the parking situation at Lee’s, some of the customers are less than scrupulous.
