The Dock Food Spirits & Ales

Bars come and go in any place, but add in the effects of economic uncertainty and an aging and shrinking population and you have a tough business environment for anyone let alone the fickle service industry. However, The Dock has been a fixture of New Glasgow for years and still seems to be going strong.
There’s a great pub atmosphere inside, with lots of dark hardwood and the old grey stones of the building give it that authentic feel. It sits around 60 out front at a mix of tables, banquettes, high tops and the bar. The rooftop patio is open in the summer and offers lots of seating and a nice view of the river, and there’s a private area out back for events as well.
