Why does the valley have no good clubs/​bars. It is like any other place around here its so greasy i jave to take a shower when i get home and there is nothing special about this place.

This place is getting 2 stars because I enjoy a little grease with my fun. My more white-​collar-​minded friends have long refused to enter this joint.
This place is «happening» on Friday nights. Use this word in relative rural Nova Scotia terms. The regulars are divorcees, retirees, drunks, a few crack heads, blue collar men and women. They’re congenial, quick to buy a drink and dance openly. The dance floor is old bathroom tiles.
On weekdays, the bar doesn’t have an open stool. The same old men chat up the young female bartender. Every once in a while, someone puts a quarter in the rusty slot machine.
On weekends, stick around till closing. You have a good chance of catching a drunken brawl. Otherwise, go to Subway next door for some alcohol-​induced revelries.
