I can’t believe I’m about to write this review. I really hope there are no hard feelings because the service was incredible. The server and chef came to ask how were were enjoying our meals. They were attentive and funny and kind. I am feeling obliged to write this because five stars is too misleading for curious food-goers. I asked my friends to come to my neck of the woods and try out this Indian place. 5 stars on Unilocal, good reviews on Google, how could it fail us? I felt horrible leaving the restaurant knowing my friends drove nearly an hour and had experienced quite possibly the most bland tasting dishes on the menu. Two orders of palak paneer, one order of chicken tiki masala and one order of beef karahi. I don’t know what went wrong but I can’t return back to this place. I’ve experienced so much better elsewhere. I am happy the prices were reasonable — I definitely would have been way more upset had I paid Newmarket prices(~$ 13). The appetizers were pretty good. We had veggie and paneer pakoras and chicken BBQ skewers. They were out of samosas and chai tea. The naan bread was thin, very very thin. Grocery stores have better prepackaged bread. I really hate to be a party pooper here but y’all deserve to know what you’re in for. Maybe there are some other delicious items on the menu but it’s a shame these weren’t them.

Place rating: 5 New Tecumseth, Canada
A small restaurant that can be hard to find, but definitely worth the look. Service was friendly and super fast. It was my first time having Indian food and I loved it. My friend is an Indian food regular and also loved it. Portions are large and there are a wide variety of dishes on the menu. Prices are also lower than I expected and very fair. Will definitely return in the near future, it was fantastic

Place rating: 5 New Tecumseth, Canada
Authentic variety of traditional Indian meals from various regions of the country. Servings are generous, good is not oily, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is great. Yesterday we had Hyderabadi Tandoori Chicken Rolls & Lahori Charga Chicken Pakora for appetizers, Peshwari Beef Karahi & Goa Beef Vindalo for entrees and Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai for desert. I highly recommend New Tecumseth’s first and only Indian restaurant and wish them success.
