History

Established in 2010.

Taken For Granite Art started as a personal exploration into sculpting. Being familiar with sculpting in clay but not keen to have a kiln in her home, LeeAnne Bloye tried working with a cement based medium called hypertufa. Though a little tricky to work with due to cement’s varied and limited working times, she loves it’s organic and weathered stone look and it’s weather proof and light weight properties. After encouragement from friends and acquaintances, this artistic experiment has turned into a home-based garden art and pet memorial business.
