I really hate writing negative reviews but I feel like sometimes you must. I wasn’t expecting greatness but I did expect a clean comfortable place for the money that was charged. As soon as we walked into the floor where our room was located, there was this strong smell as if the place was just fumigated. I was trying to disregard this smell, then we walked into the room. The window was full of lady bugs and God knows what else. I saw one, and I tried to kill it but as I walked into the window there must have been around 20 of them and there was something else that flew by! We had to leave because we were scared to find out what else was in the room. I must say though, the staff was very understanding and canceled our booking without any charges which was much appreciated. If it wasn’t for that smell and what was encountered in the room, I am sure our stay would have been pleasant. The place seem pretty descent, around a good location, without any hassle for parking.

Very nice 2.5 star hotel. The rooms are dated but clean and the beds and bedding are comfortable. They do have some connecting rooms for larger families.
The pools is small but it does the job and there is no heavy smell of chlorine.
The included breakfast was good for a free breakfast. Not super but decent for a couple of days. They also vary it up a bit so it is not the same each morning.
Parking is included which is a very nice bonus around the clifton hill area.
I would stay here again.

Very outdated hotel. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower. Staff is inattentive. Small television. The swimming pool is indoors so once you walk in you smell chlorine. In all, the Hotel looks and feels very cheap

Great location, outstanding clean rooms, and even better staff and service. I would highly recommend this place for couples and families. My booking included free parking, free beer at the Hard Rock, and free buffet breakfast (which was outstanding). I would highly highly recommend this place. And oh yeah, if you are lucky enough to get a room with a hot tub, that is even better!!!

This hotel met only basic accommodations for us, a family of three women, one of which is elderly and handicapped, another middle aged and myself, 21 years old. They had an odd New Orleans theme in the lobby next to the pool full of children and fat adults. The handicapped accommodations were atrocious. The lobby floor constantly wet, most room windows view tourists in their bathing suits in the lobby rather than outside. Good location (one star) and friendly service (second star). Breakfast was good, crowded and WET AND SLIPPERY. Will not recommend to people without children. Fun for kids.

The Clifton Victoria was everything we could have asked for. All in all, I loved this hotel. Amazing for the price and a perfect location.
Highlights:
Upon check-​in…
–Ample parking included in the cost of our room.
–Reception staff that were incredibly friendly and helpful
–Beautiful four floor high lobby area, which included the pool (how refreshing to see a pool in the open instead of hidden off somewhere) and the breakfast area.
–One elevator was a glass elevator that even overlooked this beautiful area… Everyone always wanted that one.
–We got a free room upgrade to the jacuzzi suite!
Our room…
–Immaculate, spacious, and overall very impressive
— Our view was that of the downtown tourist area. We could even see the mini-​golf course’s volcano (which shoots fire occasionally)! That made my husband’s stay.
–Super comfortable bed, with perfect feather pillows and silky soft sheets that I wanted to BUY from them they were so nice
Location…
–GREAT LOCATION
–On the edge of everything touristy, so it is quiet and doesn’t have a lot of traffic
–Within walking distance of all the shops and attractions
–Across the street from the indoor water park
–Two different WeGo bus stops within a 60 second walk
–Literal five minute walk to the maid of the mist area
And more…
–Hot breakfast daily. The two hot items each day were fine (not my thing), but there are FRESH WAFFLES EVERY MORNING. That’s all I needed.
Needless to say, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Dated rooms and lacking camera security but it was quiet and the breakfasts were great. Niagara falls is a super expensive place (the tourist trap part) so staying at this hotel and being right on the edge of it all is a good place to be. The place looks ok from the outside, the lobby is nice, the breakfast area is also nice and it has a neat little pool that some folks came to spend all day at. The rooms look old indeed but are clean. Watch out for the rates, they drop by the day till Monday at which point they are their cheapest and more normal — I got the impression that the peak rates of Friday/​Saturday were mean’t to fleece the American visitors crossing the bridge for the weekend. You’ll save a lot of money with their free breakfasts — these are full breakfasts, not just some crummy bowl of cereal and juice. I would actually stay there again.

This is no longer a Hampton Inn. It is now known as the Clifton Victoria Inn. Good deal for the money. They even have a Waterpark package. Includes free hot breakfast and free WiFi, free parking. Walking distance to everything, including both the USA and Canadian Falls. A few blocks from the insanity of Clifton Hill. Bring your passport for easier and quicker access to Canada from the USA.

Hotel is little dated. Rooms have older décor, price however makes up for that.

Please avoid any «package deals» with this hotel.
Dingy rooms, poorly maintained, dirty/​stained linen, worn-​out comforters, uncomfortable beds, noisy outdoors make this quite a bad place to stay. The «falls view» photo on their website is deceptive: that view is from a different hotel. Do not get carroed-​away by the «Hilton» name — this place is just not worth it. We ended-​up paying $ 225 a night for something a $ 49 place would have provided better. Please read all negative reviews on their website to get a better idea.

The hotel is down the street from all the crazy, cheesy, tourist attractions, and was probably one itself in a former life. The inside is decorated to supposedly be somewhat like the French Quarter of New Orleans, with rooms that have interior balconies decked out with ornate iron rails. There’s also a pool in the interior, so the whole place is a little damp and smells a little of pool water.
The check in was easy and the staff helpful. The room itself was a little damp from the air conditioner that was working very hard. The room got direct afternoon and evening sun, and so the AC had to work pretty hard to cool it down. The place was a little old, but had been recently refurbished, and had all the standard Hampton amenities.
They have a gray line desk in the lobby, so you can make all kinds of tourist arrangements there. The Hampton Inn breakfast was standard — and this place was packed — probably because it was around the 4th of July and Canada Day.
You can always count on a level of quality from Hampton — it might not be the fanciest place you ever stay, but it’s always clean and the staff is always friendly.
