Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls Fallsview

The whole part of Niagara Falls near the falls themselves is one big tourist trap. Trying to find both quality and value in this area is a challenge as most amenities are very overpriced. The Sheraton Four Points is a bright spot on the landscape, offering decent pricing and pretty good accommodations in an area of sky prices and sub par rooms.
Nicely located with a connection to the Fallsview Casino and walking distance to the Scotiabank Convention Centre, the Sheraton is a less expensive alternative to the other hotels in the area while still offering very comfortable accommodations and amenities. The rooms are clean, beds are nice with good linens, and a good night’s sleep is the most important thing. We’ll be back again.

Room seemed newly renovated and very clean. Easy check in and out. Also, having the bridge to the Fallsview is nice when it’s so cold out.
We also got a very reasonable price for the room.
Free wifi!

Something about this hotel felt so cheap. The hotel and the area around it gave me a cheap Vegas feel. The room was okay. The parking sucked. The lot was across the street and the ticket that they gave me was worthless. I pre-​paid for parking and still had to pay at the exit. I think I’d rather stay in the American side of the falls next time.

Disappointing experience. The hotel put us on the 2^nd floor where it was loud we were basically above the lobby. Not worth the price point I paid for. Staff was friendly but did nothing to compensate us for a lousy experience. Hotel was lacking in quality. I would not go back there or recommend it.
Also wanted to add iHop I was an absolute rip off. $ 50 for two people for a basic meal.

Used a Groupon to stay three nights with the couples package and had a wonderful stay.
I’ll say right up front that this wasn’t my first choice. I tend to book with one of two chains, neither of which are Sheraton, and originally booked with one of them. My bride, though, while perusing her daily Groupon email, pointed out a deal they were offering at the Four Points. I looked closely at the deal, the hotel’s location, their rack rate, the current USD-​CAD exchange rate, and figured that this was well into the great-​deal category for that property, so I jumped on it.
We scored a very nice room. No direct view of the falls, but that wasn’t promised, so no problem. We did have a good view of Fallsview Casino’s video billboard which was bright enough to get a suntan from, but the room shades knocked that down to a mere flicker. (I mention this because if that kind of thing bothers you, you might look into a city-​view room or perhaps a different hotel.) Don’t know where a previous reviewer stayed, but we had a complimentary bottle of water waiting for us each day of our stay. They also had tokens for the vending machines, which if used resulted in a $ 3 charge on the bill. I fumed over paying $ 3 CAD for a bottle of Coke until I had to pay $ 2.50 at the convenience store across the street, at which time the token system became more attractive. WiFi was easy to connect to, both for my devices, and my wife’s employer-​provided laptop which has security software from hell which generally keeps her from connecting on the road.
We appreciated the hotel’s location on the city’s WeGO bus system, which we used to get around to a lot of the local tourist attractions (and avoided getting the car out of hock and trying to park near the various Falls attractions). If you are considering a stay near the Falls, hear and believe: WeGO is your friend; it covers most of anything you’d want to get to and their 24– and 48-​hour passes are inexpensive.
Cons: if you are navigating to the hotel using a GPS, be aware that the hotel’s main entrance and guest parking is on the back of the building on Stanley Ave., and their entrance on Fallsview Blvd is damn near invisible and unusable if you are thinking of pulling up and unloading a car. This was a nuisance until we circled the block to make another pass and saw the entrance sign on Stanley. Lots of people groused at the cost of the parking; I guess that they’re used to large parking lots and hotels not in the middle of downtowns. We used the valet since my wife is recuperating from surgery and I wasn’t going to have her walk a block from her car to the hotel. Their floorplan is sort-​of goofy, with two banks of elevators to one block of rooms, and a third (accessible via a not-​well-​marked doorway) leading to the other block of rooms where we stayed. Once we got used to that, meh, but finding the C elevators from the lobby was interesting.
Also in the cons category but nothing I’d de-​rate the hotel for: breakfast at the IHOP was expensive compared to other IHOPs (taking conversion rate into account). The dinner we had at Ruth’s Chris was partially offset by the deal voucher, but all things considered, wasn’t that out of range for dinner at a five-​star steakhouse.
One last note: the couples package came with vouchers for local winery tours, the in-​building IHOP, the in-​building Ruth’s Chris, and $ 25 (CAD) slot-​play at the Fallsview Casino across the street. That’s one voucher PER DAY, folks. Now, there was no way we were going to eat at Ruth’s Chris every night, nor at IHOP, and wineries aren’t that big of a deal for us. However, between my wife and I, we turned the slot-​play vouchers into enough penny-​slot winnings to pay for one of the nights at the hotel.
So, thanks, Four Points, Groupon, and Fallsview Casino for a fun three-​day stay,

Horrible, tourist trap. Nothing is included, not even parking or the water bottle in the room.
The parking is 25 per night. The coupon for Ruth Chris is total gimmick. They charge $ 80 for a steak with no sides.

Used a Groupon and only stayed for one night but I have to say that I was very happy with my hotel stay. The room was very clean. Check in and out was super fast. The staff were very friendly. I have to say parking was super expensive in my opinion $ 29.25 per night. Wifi is free.

Not sure why everyone is complaining over little things; I extremely enjoyed everything about my stay at this hotel!
From the moment we checked in, to when we left, everything went smoothly. I did not spend more than about three minutes in the check-​in line when I arrived, and since I had bought my hotel voucher off Groupon, it included some extra coupons and tickets. Not only was the lady helping me out very kind, but she also gave me extra coupons and vouchers to attractions in Niagara, which was lovely of her. Not to mention, we arrived at the hotel around 2 pm, two hours before our check-​in time (we just wanted to see if we could possibly check-​in earlier), and without hesitation, the lady at the desk was happy to let us check-​in right at that moment.
The room was beyond my expectations in the aspect of it’s comfort. The bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was clean and washed. The light bulb in our bathroom was out when we arrived in the room, but once we called maintenance, they showed up to fix it right away.
We enjoyed the restaurants on-​site, and for those who are complaining about prices– Niagara Falls is one of the most popular tourist spots; what do you expect?
One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was the indoor tunnel to the casino. Very convenient!
Overall, I would most definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for reasonable prices for exceptionally great rooms.

Got a groupon deal and went for 2 nights with my boyfriend over February break. What a great place! We were between like 5 or 6 different hotels and finally chose this one. We had no issues or problems staying here. Check in was super easy we asked for a room upgrade and got it. First we wanted a fallsview room — which had a semi nice view of the falls. It had a cool bay window which was nice. Then we switched and got a room with a jacuzzi and a city view. It was soo nice! Glad we picked that one. The bed was huge and comfortable and the jacuzzi was a very nice addition. The shower was a bit small. The room was clean and had a nice view of the casino, all the lights at night were very pretty. We didn’t use wi-​fi just because I read the mixed reviews of charges and didn’t want to risk it.
PARKING!!: You have to pay to park at the hotel but it is less to park in the casino garage. And if you gamble at all while you’re there the parking is free.
Everything was connected to this hotel — the casino, many restaurants. It was great we didn’t have to walk outside. We walked around down to the falls — about a 10 minute walk and took the shuttle to get to Clifton Hill. We talked to some of the hotel employees and they said that the Four Points or the Hilton are the best places to stay because of the proximity to everything. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel it was a great experience and we have no complaints!

We had no problems or issues with our one night stay. Check in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I only spent about 4 – 5 hours in the room, but it was spacious and clean. The convenient location of the hotel to the casino and the Falls were what I liked most about the hotel. If you walk across the bridge over the street, you’re right at the casino. From there you can take a short walk outside to the incline and take a scenic ride down directly to the Falls.
There are multiple elevators throughout the hotel which can make getting to your room quite easy. With the access to the casino restaurants and with multiple restaurants attached to the hotels, there are many dining options.
The only gripe I had, and a heads up for future guests, is that you can park in the casino parking deck for cheaper and without having do go outside and cross the street. We weren’t offered this option by the staff but understand knowing that the hotel wants to take your parking money and not give it to the casino.
We booked the hotel through Groupon and had the family package. The package came with passes for attractions at the Funzone next door and with coupons for IHOP and East Side Mario’s. For the amount we did in one night and the price we paid, there was good value with our package.

They’ll offer you to park in the garage or valet, which are expensive, but they don’t tell you about the parking at the casino connected to the hotel through an indoor bridge. The casino parking was supposed to be $ 5 but in the end it charged us $ 10, not sure why.
Unrelated: The IHOP downstairs is SO over priced! You end up paying over 15 for anything you order, even basic pancakes with hash. I understand that Canadian IHOP might be more expensive than in the USA, but this difference is outrageous! Other chains stay pretty consistent between USA and Canada.
The city view is atrocious at lower floors. Our jet tub ($ 10 extra a night) wasn’t working, then maintenance takes forever to come upstairs just to say he doesn’t know how to fix it.
The shower dispensers were empty, and room service took over 20 minutes to bring shampoo. I waited in the shower hoping they’d come sooner so my husband could open the door and hand it to me, but I got tired of waiting and washed my hair with shower gel.
Then they switched our room to one with a working tub, but surprise! the shower dispenser conditioner was empty. The dispenser is opaque and the only way to check is push some out, but I didn’t think it would be empty a second time so I didn’t check before getting wet! My hair was super dry from using the shower gel last night so I waited for another 20 minutes in the shower for the conditioner.
At least the rooms were clean, and the public hot tubs and pool were nice. We paid so much though, that stupid Groupon wasn’t working because of some site error.

If you want to get a view of Niagara Falls, you will have to spend more money and probably get another hotel because the rooms that are facing the falls do technically get the view, but it’s not much since there’re other building in front and such.
But if you want a clean bed to lay your head down on, not worry about bugs, disgusting carpet, clean bathrooms, good customer service, and pay a fair price, this place might do it for you.
There’s a few restaurant downstairs but they close early, like every other place in this town so it’s definitely not a place to go to party or stay out late unless you want to gamble, in which case, you can via the sky bridge then get pick pocketed. Oh yeah, did I mention that? My cousin got pick pocketed and got his wallet stolen but that was at the casino and not at the hotel.
WiFi is a hit or miss but it wasn’t a huge deal for me. I treat Niagara Falls as a pitstop for me as I normally trek up from PA to Toronto every year so this place isn’t bad for that stop for the night.
Parking: Paid front ($ 25/​night) or paid lot across the street ($ 15/​night)
Price: $ 102/​night including taxes/​fees (4 people in one room)

IF YOU WANT A FALLSVIEW ROOM DO NOT STAY HERE. SEE THE PICTURES.
Especially for $ 400/​night.
Point 1: They call this hotel a FallsView hotel, but our ‘Fallsview’ room certainly streched that definition. «Parking-​Garage-​View-​With-​A-​Whisp-​Of-​Mist-​And-​Some-​River-​View» would be more accurate. As would «View-​of-​Hotels-​With-​Actual-​FallsView». Our view was certainly not worth any upcharge. Just stay somewhere cheaper with no windows for $ 100 less and you’ll have far better value.
Point 2: The Four Points Sheraton Fallsview is not the Sheraton Fallsview. My bad in not realizing that the Four Points was not the Sheraton where my parents stayed and raved about the view a decade ago. Therefore, expect sub-​Hampton Inn amenities and room quality. Market segmentation and consumer confusion success.
Conclusion: The hotel itself is dull, not modern or well-​laid-​out, and there is nothing particularly nice about it. Sometimes, when you just want a place to put your head and it’s cheap, that’s just fine, but it’s not a destination in any way. Further, our ‘Fallsview’ room (16^th floor, IIRC) was a parody of the term ‘Fallsview’ and since the windows in the elevator lobbies on either end of our floor were not much better, I can’t imagine where in this hotel there is a view of the Falls worth any upcharge, yet alone $ 100. Maybe there is. But since there are so many other options, if you want a view, don’t chance it! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. And even if you DON’T care about the view STAY SOMEWHERE CHEAPER or at a nicer hotel in a non-​Fallsview room. You’ll be less disappointed.
Better yet, if you don’t have kids and are here on a trip involving any measure of romance, (and are not interested in the sideshow-​like atmosphere that surrounds the actual Falls) don’t stay in Niagara at all, but just spend the day there and then take a leisurely ½ hour drive up to Niagara on the Lake and stay at the beautiful, incredible Prince of Wales Inn. My partner and I were so eager to leave the Four Points in the morning that we left Niagara proper to have brunch in Niagara-​On-​The-​Lake, finding ourselves in the Prince of Wales’ lovely restaurant Escabeche. It was so beautiful that it really enhanced our regret at having stayed at the Four Points. You will be happier, trust me.

Overall, our stay at the Four Points Sheraton was comfortable, but we found the pros to far outweigh the cons, and we won’t be back again.
Pros:
1) Proximity to Niagara Falls, and surrounding tourist attractions
2) Clean rooms
Cons:
1) Hit or miss customer service; Manager made snarky comments
2) «Fallsview» is VERY misleading; it is on Fallsview Blvd, but only a small handful of rooms (namely the suites) have actual views of the Falls
3) WiFi is nonexistent in the rooms, unless you stand by the door
4) Parking costs are stupid; park it yourself across the street — $ 15, valet/​park in the lot immediately outside hotel — $ 25. Park it at nearby Fallsview casino which is connected to hotel — $ 5. Of course, they only gave us the two more expensive options. Our recommendation is to park it at the Fallsview casino, and navigate the connected walkway to save some $$$.

I went to the falls for a getaway weekend with my boyfriend recently. We spent Friday night at the Sheraton and Saturday night elsewhere due to the massive price spike between nights.
Location is ideal. You’re in the heart of the tourist area near the falls. Just a three minute walk put us in front of the American falls and another short walk along the scenic Niagra River brings you to the Horseshoe falls. There is a tunnel connecting the hotel to the Fallsview Casino as well as some restaurants (Ruth’s Chris, IHOP, and others).
We paid a bit extra for a Fallsview room with jacuzi. The bathroom was very nice, and the view was great albeit a bit obstructed by the casino. Worth the price we paid on Friday, but I would have been upset had we paid the $ 350 ish cost on Saturday for it. There are also some great package deals to consider including hotel/​dining credit combos.
Check in /​check out was smooth. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Location was great. Internet is free; however, all parking has a cost (whether you valet, self-​park in the near lot, or self-​park across the street). Overall a solid choice of hotels.

Check in was smooth but slow… But tye girl at front desk was very friendly. Room itself was on the 10^th floor with «city» view which is a fancy way of saying I can keep an eye on my car in the parking lot (haha). Bed was superrrr comfortable, no complaints whatsoever about this aspect!
My biggest gripe was that the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were stored in metal pump dispensers, and so all three smelled very strongly of metal. Ugh. Terrible.
Still, good price overall and had some good deals ($ 60 voucher at Ruths Chris and 2 free drinks) so will go back… But with my own shampoo

Optimistic about the hotel at first but already, we lined up for 1.5 hours at the front desk to check in. Okay fine, it’s near New Year’s Eve, I will let it slide. Requested higher floor, we got the 6^th floor, wonderful view of the parking lot (note the sarcasm). Is that considered higher floor?
Am I the only one who thinks 4pm check in is late? The good thing is you can request for earlier check in if you let the hotel know early though. Plus is the 12 noon check out is a positive in my opinion.
Room — clean, bed was comfortable, layout of the room was weird because the bed was on one side and a large empty space on the other with two couches without a coffee table or anything. Showers were average, water pressure as others mentioned its eh nothing impressive. Towels were not soft instead were very rough on the skin. Limited channels and takes awhile for the tv to load as well, blah.
Service– wifi didn’t work, tried to call front desk not answer. We had to use my personal data if I needed to look something up. At the end of our stay, we checked out and they didn’t seem to care whether or not we enjoyed our stay. We mentioned hesitantly that our stay was ok but most hotels would inquire how they could improve. Nope the lady at the front desk just left it at that.
Parking– park over at the Fallsview casino, it’s 5 $ with the PAC card. There’s a pathway so it’s convenient. This hotel offers self parking for 15 $ and 25 $ for valet parking. Hefty if you’re staying here for longer than 2 nights.
Restaurants– there’s ihop, Ruth’s Chris steakhouse and east side Mario’s. all over priced and in my opinion, I rather go over to the casino for the buffet but venture to Clifton hill to check out the restaurants over there. You might find a hidden gem, I recommend Guru over on Victoria.
Overall– walls were thin, I could hear people outside my room or near, sounds of cars coming in and out from the parking lot. Would I come back? Nope not a chance.
Ps– I didn’t Check out the pool but hear the hot tub there is decent whereas the pool is too cold for anyone to enjoy.

What a terrible experience I had here.
First off I bought a Teambuy deal. Sometimes these are hit and miss but what I thought was an ok deal ended up falling short.
Our deal with a King-​size bed with whirlpool, $ 40 spa deal for manicure, 2 complimentary drinks and $ 40 off for The Keg for $ 129.
First off check in is SO late… 4pm? Most people arrive around 2−3pm relax in their rooms before heading out for a show and for the evening. From what I’ve read from other reviewers it seems they can’t even guarantee that time either. People are getting their rooms at 5pm — that is unacceptable.
I guess because I didn’t pay full price they stuck us on the second floor with a view of garbage and a roof. Lovely.
Spent some time in the swimming pool or shall I say wading pool and the hot tub jets weren’t working.
When we went out for the night — dinner was a disaster because the main restaurant for The Keg with the Falls view had a 2 hours wait. She offered to sit us on the ground level where there was no view. Cheapest thing on the menu was $ 30 so when you factor in 2 meals, drinks I was paying $ 100 anyways.
The «salon» discount was wasted for the manicure because the place was closed.
and the coupon expired the next day which also couldn’t be used because I needed an appointment.
At night when you’re sleeping you hear a constant mechanical noise coming from the fans or ceilings so that kept us up most of the night.
To end our adventure — we were tidying up our room and I think we did a better job
than the maids because we ended up finding a USED TEABAG under the desk where the garbage is. Obviously the maids are not thorough.
When we asked for a late checkout the main desk said absolutely not and if we’re ONE MIN past our time we’re charged an extra $ 30.
When we got to the desk she acknowledged the Teambuy coupon however said we had to pay taxes. I don’t think I’ve never had to pay taxes before with other hotels or am I wrong in this? It’s suppose to be that flat rate no?

On our way out from checkout, we saw the hotel manager and passed our concerns about the noise overnight coming from he fans or ceiling. He basically shrugged us off and said he’d look into it.
Apparently my deal came with a $ 10 off at IHOP for breakfast but we skipped that as well because that would only cover 2 coffees probably.
Worst hotel in Niagara. I’d rather stay at Embassy or Hilton for the same money.
The only benefit of this hotel is the walkway to the casino so you don’t need a coat. BUT it’s shared with The Hilton so you’re better off staying over there.

This hotel has some positives and negatives, but it’s is definitely not as bad as some of these reviews make it out to be.
Positives:
Hotel is walking distance from Niagara Falls
There are plenty of restaurants around
The room was very spacious
The bed was very comfortable luckily
The hot tub/​pool area and gym are nice
Negatives:
The walls are thin and you can hear every sound
There are NO fridges in the rooms
The elevators are slow
Some of the staff is friendly, others can be better
Overall, not a bad hotel and I will probably give it another try if I am in the area. Besides, I have gotten the room for much cheaper then it is original price through Groupon.

We picked this hotel because it was a conveniently located, mid-​range priced lodging option in a tourist town where rooms can run the gamut from over $ 300 a night to under $ 100 at some of the dumpier motels farther from the Falls.
No major complaints with cleanliness, water pressure, size, beds, etc. but all in all, it was just OK. Our «falls view» room kinda-​sorta had a view of the falls — if you stood on tiptoe and craned your neck. Mostly what you saw was the roof of the building below us and a lot of mist from the falls, which were blocked by a line of trees. Housekeeping was a little erratic — very early one day and not until almost 4 PM another. Our initial check-​in was delayed by almost an hour because housekeeping was backed up — same thing for some relatives who checked in a day after us. Our biggest gripe was that they don’t have their own parking, so we had to pay $ 15 per day to park across the street.
