Good IHOP experience. Typical as well. Pancakes were amazing as always. Ordered several sides to share. All the sides added up to a fair bit but still. Was very good. The waitress was very nice and helpful and came to check on us often even though we were in a corner. If you like pancakes, you will like this place. Sausages were great too.

If I could give this less than one star, I would. We wanted to treat our kids to a special breakfast. We went in and the waiter asked how many? There was 10 in our group. He frowned and disappeared to rearrange some tables. When he returned he informed us that because we were sitting at one table he would be adding a mandatory 17% gratuity. We told him we could eat at two tables and then he changed his mind about the gratuity. We all got menus and I took one look at the menu. 2 eggs and 1 hashbrown =$ 15.99??! There was nothing on the menu for less than $ 15.00. Table was sticky and unclean.

Horrible I don’t even know where to start. It was 7 of us, we had to wait almost 1hr for us to get the food. They did not warn us! My friend who is a vegetarian had chicken in her food. I had bacon in my food as I cannot eat bacon. When we asked to speak to the Manager twice she came in and all she said was sorry and stared at us. I would not recommend to go to this place especially if your religious… You will have unwanted things in you food. They don’t care about there customers. Don’t go stay away! The food is not that great ither. Overall bad experience. Save your time and money go somewhere else!

This IHOP was empty when we walked in, and now we know why. The prices are outrageously expensive. $ 12 – 20(Canadian) for dishes that would be half that at any other IHOP I know. $ 81 for four people before tip for breakfast is unacceptable. Never ever coming back. You should not either.

Good depending on what you order but overpriced overall. All dishes are basically $ 15 and up unless you’re looking at the 55+ or kid’s menu. Our bill came up to about $ 56 with taxes and tip. My boyfriend ordered the big steak omelette. I tried it And thought it was mediocre. There isn’t much taste to the steak, eggs, or vegetables in the omelette. Wouldn’t recommend this dish. I enjoyed my avocado and turkey bennie. White cheese sauce was so yummy. Avocado was perfectly ripe and the brioche gave a pleasant sweet aftertaste. A healthy alternate to the usual eggs and bacon. Give it a try but be prepared to shell out about $ 20 for it.

The only, and I mean ONLY reason this place is getting a star today, is the server Carol! She was great. She should be your manager. She was able to extend her apologies for the lack of care & courtesy shown to us by her manager Carolyn?! Her ability to serve our table moderate to «OK» food with a polite & professional demeanor is all that saved this 1 star rating. I get that places get busy on weekends, but this was a completely horrible experience from the time we walked in! We watched over 20 people leave, tables get cleared but the hostesses refused to sit us? When asked to speak with the manager and question why the line up of people weren’t being seated, Carolyn(apparently IHOP’s «Keeper of the people» stomped her foot stating — «It’s my call», I guess the kitchen was busy, but instead of seating us, offering us coffee/tea & juice and even saying the kitchen is busy it may be a little longer — she simply refused. We watched approx 4 – 5 tables of 20 – 25 ppl just walk out! Business must be great at this location to let $ just walk away… If I were running this location, it might be time for a «staff meeting»! Item number one on the agenda — Your People! Google«Soft Skills» & Customer Service, it’ll go along way! With a multitude of breakfast locations around the falls, do you think people come only for the food? Good breakfast with a side of GREAT service & energetic staff will secure repeat customers. Especially for a restaurant in the heart of Ontario’s tourism capital! Unreal experience. We won’t make that mistake again! With so many places to choose from in Niagara Falls, do yourself a favour and try any place but here. You can always take the gamble, but remember this review when you have poor service and inflated prices. I’ll bet you wish you skipped this place altogether! IHOP — International House of Poor Service!

Actually a 2.5 stars. We got a groupon deal for this location so we decided to have brunch here. I got the chicken florentine crepes. They were absolutely delicious! The menu is definitely pricey, but this was one of the few things on there i felt were worth it. There was a good amount of chicken and veges in this crêpe, which made it a very filling meal. My fiancé however didn’t have the best experience — first they messed up her order. She asked to exchange the sausage for bacon, but instead they brought all sausage. Then she noticed a hair on her eggs… so they went and made her some fresh eggs. The price for tea was ridiculous — it cost almost $ 4 for tea, and even though it says«bottomless tea», all they bring you is more hot water — no new teabags. That was a bit misleading and I think they should address that when a customer orders tea. The waitress we had was extremely nice and we had no problems with her at all. She tried her best to make sure everything was good, but things out of her control kept happening which led to a less than average rating. I would give this IHOP a shot the next time I’m in the area, as there is free parking and the service was reasonably quick.

Always hear about people talking about ihop and finally got a chance to eat here for breakfast. The breakfast were okay. I’ve had better. We had pancakes, waffles, sausages, bacon, friend chicken, and ham. None of them I would want to order again. I would say it’s a standard all American breakfast, nothing so special. Maybe I expected yoo much.

It is Ihop, the food is decent and the portions are standard but the prices are almost criminal. 4 of us, with a $ 15.00 discount and we were still in the $ 50.00 range. And we had 1 coffee, one kids meal and 2 of the folks split a plate. To be honest, if you want to save your hard earned cash, I would look for some other place or go to a bakery.

Pathetic! 2 adults and 2 children and the bill was $ 97.92. Food was very slow coming out, and the service was weak. Would never recommend to anyone.

Stayed at the hotel across the street, came here for a quick breakfast before setting off to the US. Prices are inflated compared to other iHops in the US, but portions are just as huge. Will fill you up for the day so you can skip lunch if you have a busy day. For me the service was okay and the environment was clean, not sure why there are many poor ratings.

This particular IHOP never disappoints. We have been coming here for 5 years now; the service is great, good for groups and the food is always HOT. Always a good way to end our weekend trip.

For a big American chain I wasn’t expecting anything more than average, which is about what I got. The service was fine and most of the experience here was too. What tipped the scale down from three stars was the stuffed french toast. My guess is that this is something that comes pre-made and frozen to the restaurant and they just reheat it, top it with berries and whipped cream, and bring it out to you. It was terrible. It was hard, tough to cut through, and barely warm in the middle. Overall just not good. I wish I had gone with the pancakes.

After staying at Americana resort the night, we went to I Hop down the street for some breaky. I ordered the steak omelet was amazing.(ask for hp sause on the side) mmm mmmmm I got my kids pancakes and they have amazing pancakes. They have like 5 different syrops that my kids loved to test out. Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Blueberry, Old Fashion, and classic. Ordered blueberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes. The food was great, service was very good and quick, parking sucks. We had to park around the back of a hotel and walk around the outside with 2 kids was a bit of a walk. The price ??? I was amazed when I got the bill and it was $ 60. We ordered our food and the pancakes for the kids came with our meals so we didnt have to buy seperate meals for the kids. My wife asked for halandaise sause and they charged her $ 3 for it. Orange juice and a chocolate milk were not cheap either. The food was very good but I cant figure why they charge so much. Last time I was at a I hop I was in Florida and the price for my wife and I was about $ 20. Only in Canada can you get a $ 60 bill at I Hop .EH.

We had to get out of the claustrophobia that is Clifton Hill so we drove down the road to give my hubby his first IHOP experience. I hadn’t had it since I was 15 so this would be interesting. I got the Smokehouse breakfast which was 3 scrambled eggs, kielbasa sausage, hash browns and 2 pancakes. He got the grilled steak and onions with eggs, hash browns and pancakes. The butter pecan syrup was amazing and the maple syrup was good too. It was a little on the greasy side but it’s diner food so… The service was great and they actually asked if we wanted refills! GASP! I think it was around $ 40WITH tip(a bargain, unfortunately). Parking is on the right side of the restaurant, not in the attached hotel. You can go to the light at Montrose, turn left and go back on the first left to the parking lot.
