History

Established in 1962.

Dennis Sunstrum owner and CEO started the business and has worked from the ground up to make Sunstrum’s Florist #1 in the Niagara Region. In the early years, Dennis did it all. He designed flowers, answered phones, waited on customers and made deliveries. Things have changed a little since 1962. After years of hard work, Dennis can take pride in the fact that he has grown a very successful flower business.

Some things have changed over years but others have stayed the same. Whether his staff of floral designers is creating a simple bud vase or a very large floral design, the quality and attention to detail is still evident. The entire flower shop has been renovated including all new floral show cases. Stop by to look at the selection of Tropical flowers with there own separate floral show cases to keep the flowers at the perfect temperature for optimum longevity. Sunstrum’s has a nice selection of European handtied bouquets ready to go.

Business Owner

Dennis was the first certified Master Designer in Canada. He has entered flower competitions all over the world with great successes. Dennis also spent time working on a «Rose Bowl Parade» float.

Dennis is also a great supporter in our community of many charities including Project Share, our local food bank, The Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation and Hannah House, a program for young unwed mothers and their babies. Dennis is also a Rotarian.
