Not worth it, IMO… If you’re able, and the weather cooperates, and you don’t want to wait FOREVER for buses that may or may not arrive, you’re better off walking. The schedule seems needlessly complicated, and the hours/​routes are pretty limited. They push pretty hard here for you to get the combo pass, which includes unlimited on-​off rides on this bus. IF it were a bit more user friendly, had more intuitive schedules/​routes (and I’m no newcomer to public transportation!!) it’d be great, as parking here is a HUGE, expensive hassle, and it’d be much easier to park for the entire length of your visit and catch the bus to where you’re wanting to go. We were doing lots of walking in the near vicinity of the Falls, and were only here for a long weekend, but decided to get 24 hr. passes, which was a big mistake. Couldn’t find the route/​s we wanted, at the time/​s or location/​s we wanted, and wound up walking, which was a much better option any way for seeing all that we wanted to see in a short period of time. With more time, it might have been nice to go a bit more outside of the area, but with this crazy WE (don’t)GO service, we probably would have had to take our car and double/​triple pay for parking…

Buses are big, clean and modern. Drivers are quite rude and shout a lot. I bought the day pass at the bus terminal and later it was sold almost compulsory with the adventure pass of the Niagara Falls again.
Frequencies where ok during the day but when I had to return to the bus station at 7pm there were no more wegos for going there, I ended calling an über. I felt very dissatisfied.

Great during the daytime, no blue line bs to be found after fireworks trying to get to Victoria avenue from Hornvblower boat lines. You’re better off getting a cab or Über after dark.

We had similar experience as Jilie R above, but much worse than that. We rode the bus
from Table Rock and wanted to go to Radisson Hotel which is just next to the Marriot
Hotel. We could see Radisson behind us from the bus stop at Table Rock. We could have
simply walked but all of us were quite tired and thought of taking the bus instead.
So we boarded the bus and asked the Driver (an extremely rude lady driver who started
showing her attitude when me and my daughter took a few seconds extra scanning the
badges correctly when we just boarded trying to figure out the new system in the new
country).We asked — how long would it take to reach Radisson Hotel? She said it
would take an hour. Being a tourist we emphasized to make sure we understood each
other correctly. She almost screamed at us to say that it will take an hour and that
she will not jump off the hill to go to the hotel directly just because it is visible
from Table Rock. And this is how she was talking to a tourist who are in this city
for 2 – 3 days and who knows nothing about the city, trying to figure out the best way
to utilize time and money. We also asked her how will we know where to get off. She
said, when «Marriot» comes, we should get off. We quietly went and sat off stll
wondering if we were heading towards the right place. Coz one hour sounded a lot of
time to reach the hotel that looked only a few feet away.
So, the bus drove by and after a while we saw «Marriot Courtyard» coming by. My
husband went up to the driver and asked if this is where we need to get off as the
names were confusing. She literally screamed and said she already explained how it
will take one hour and the we should get off at 5:56 PM (that is the time when the
bus is scheduled to reach there. How strange this can be! The buses were not even
running on time! And she had also said to watch out for Marriott — didn’t she ??? .So
my husband asked her very politely if this is how she behaved with every tourist ?
She was so annoyed that she yelled at us and told us — «get off of my bus».
«My» bus? This is a paid service specially catering to the «Tourist» community. So,
we asked her to call her supervisor as this was a really uncalled for behaviour. It
was a paid service and all we wanted from her is some route assistance! She called
her supervisor and said,” There is a guy who is trying to harrass me”. That is when I
walked up and said, Well, you have been harassing the whole family (me, my husband and
our 2 kids) since we had boarded the bus and now using objectionable words against us
for absolutely no reason. We said we will not get off of the bus until we file a complaint against you with your supervisor.
So, the supervisor finally came after a few stops, took our statement and gave us a
ride back to our hotel. She did promise that the company will go through the video
tapes and let us know how this case was dealt with and it has been 5 months and no one called.
We were having an amazing experience at Niagara with wonderful people around until we
came across Megan, the rude driver of WEGO who has left us with a very bad taste that
we never experienced in our life earlier! And after coming back home and reading the
reviews it seems like «time» is a big issue with the blue line bus service and
probably these were frequent questions for the driver and she thought yelling was an
easy option to shut visitors off. What a pathetic way of treating visitors!

Steer clear of this bus service. We had a horrible time. Short version– terrible service, long waits, long rides, no company support for unhappy customers. Use taxi or über!!!
Long story…
We were only in Niagara Falls for 24 hours and on our 2 trips on this bus (coming and going to our hotel) between waiting for the bus and being on the bus we wasted over 2 hours. One hour alone was sitting on the bus trying to get back to the hotel. They town is actually very small so this may seem impossible to travel this long to get back to the hotel. It is difficult to walk because the landscape is very steep so we decided to buy the bus pass (u have to buy per day) since I was traveling with my older sister and husband and figured the walk up would be difficult
We got on the bus back from the boat ride to the Marriott hotel. About 2 miles but the route of the bus takes you around the entire city to get back to where we wanted to go. This we accepted. We waiting for almost an hour for the bus. As we drove the city the driver decided to take a potty break (we assume). Stopped the bus and left us for about 8 – 10 min. Lots of eyeball rolls in the bus. We told the driver where we were going but as we noticed we turned a block before the hotel we asked the driver of we could get off. He said no we will actually drop u off in front of the hotel… in about 10 min. Actually it was another 30 minutes. In the meantime we had another stop for a driver change and a route that took us to marine land that the driver failed to mention. There was a family going to marine land but since there was no announce about stops, they ended up missing it so when the bus turned around to now head back to the city where the hotel was the family had to get off on the opposite side of the highway and manage to get their family (with young kids across the street). Scary. We finally got off the bus after one hour of travel time. This set our whole day into a whirlwind since we had scheduled other things to do. What a mess and stressor we had to deal with. I reached out to corporate. Another joke. Offered us 8 tickets for the same bus!!! Really? Stay away. Use a taxi or über

Cost effective transport? Definitely, but pay attention! Several of the lines only run until 9pm. And 9pm comes pretty early when you are not paying attention!
The buses were clean and, generally, convenient — with clearly marked stops.

In theory, this is a great system. But it has to be managed properly, which it isn’t. We were there for the 4^th of July and used a 48 hr pass that came with the Adventure Pass on July 3 and 4. There are 4 lines, Red — Lundy’s Lane, Green — Niagara Parks, Blue — Marineland, and Purple — downtown. The green line signs on the front of the bus were frequently showing the wrong route («South» instead of what the bus was actually servicing — «North»). This wasn’t too bad, as these buses run every 12 minutes in summer and we figured it out. The red line was totally unreliable. It was never on time, and on July 4, with all the tourists (including us!) wanting to get to Table Rock to see fireworks, they were rerouting the buses once they were full-​WITHOUT SENDING OUT BUSES TO FINISH THE ROUTE! or even having other drivers inform people of the situation. So many people were left stranded. You would think that they would add extra buses for days they know are going to be extremely busy. The blue line was generally reliable. We didn’t have a need to ride the purple line. But again, after the fireworks were done on the 4^th, you would think that they would have some buses lined up to take people away — no. There were about 5,000 people waiting to get on 1 blue line bus. No reds in sight. It was very disappointing. It took a half hour to load the blue line bus at Table Rock and for the driver to fight off the rest of the crowd.
So, some tips:
1) Ask the driver of the green line what direction they are going, especially near the northern and southern ends of the route.
2) Do not rely on the Red line to get to Table Rock or Clifton Hill. If you can allot extra time (like 15 minutes) to go all the way out to Marineland on the Blue line, take the blue.
3) As another reviewer noted, the seats are very uncomfortable — hard and flat. You might want to carry a stadium seat or other padding for longer rides.

Was there for a convention and we got to ride the WEGO and i rode it to get around town. Very clean bus! The only down side is that the map of stop they give us is not accurate all the time. One of our stop on the map was way further then the street it was supose to be one. But it is a nice and cheap way to get around

I was really impressed with WEGO they really made things a lot simpler than it was in the past. And the price for a 24 hour pass was a great deal. Certainly eliminated a lot of walking. Glad it runs on Sunday since all the other bus lines do not.
Once you figure out the score and if you save the bus time page to your phone you know exactly where the bus is at all times.
Great system and the drivers are courteous and helpful. Too bad our TTC drivers can’t take lessons in courtesy from these folks.
Only wish they develop a free app for android this would make life a little easier.

WEGO, ride to fun!
WEGO replaced the old Niagara Parks People Mover and the Falls Shuttle last year, in fine fashion with more modern buses, TVs, automated announcements, and a more integrated fare system.
There are four fares you can get which would be valid on WEGO: A 24 hour pass, a 48 hour pass, an adventure pass, and a Niagara Falls Transit monthly pass. They can all be purchased throughout all the touristy areas in Niagara Falls (well, except the monthly pass I guess), and are easy to use (just tap the card and hold it until the screen goes «bling!»).
I overall enjoyed riding the transit system, however there were a few quirks I had.
1. I kinda wished, for a visitor transportation system, for the seats to have a bit more padding. You want to make the passengers as comfortable as possible, as dwell times in some of the stops can be massive (such as White Water Walk, Clifton Hill…).
2. People do not know how to use the rear door. Read the instructions: WAVE at the door. Or better yet, hold your hand perpendicular to the door, just barely touching it. It works 100% of the time if you can do it properly.
3. The TVs on the bus didn’t work in half of the buses I’ve ridden. Sad really, since they show useful information such as attractions and expected arrival times to certain stops.
4. The next bus signs at Table Rock are extremely small. Not just that, the signs are misleading. Both bus stops there indicate the claim all four lines serve both stops, when in fact Green North, Blue, and Red serve the northbound stop and the Purple and Green South serve the southbound stop. They fail to indicate this, however, and that threw so many of the tourists off.
With that aside, it’s a decent transit system. Could be better (especially the frequency), but honestly many of the attractions you can go by walking.
