History

Established in 2013.

After working in the hair and beauty industry for 11years the time had come for Alexandra to listen to her body and get out of that extremely toxic environment. Due to the commitment to be kind to herself and Mother Earth it was necessary to change her approach by 360 degrees. That was 4 years ago. Since then she has strived to always work with the most chemical free products available on the market at this time. There was no available product in the field of Shampoo and Conditioner so she got her own line — Haircraftig Holistic Haircare — rolling! Her first business was called «Haircrafting» and has been very successful, nothing has really changed except the name is now Ginkgo & Maple Salon.

1999 start of 3 year apprenticeship, graduation with honours

2004 move to Vancouver, BC employed at Suki’s International, Vancouver, BC

2005 schooling to become a Certified German Master Hairdresser, graduation with honours

2006 employed at Supernova Salon, North Vancouver, BC

2009 Hair Balancing Education

2010 move to Europe, worked at pioneer hair salon of natural and organic hair products and services.

2011 return to North Vancouver, BC start of Haircrafting and Haircrafting Holistic Haircare

2014 own hair studio called Ginkgo & Maple Salon in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, BC
