Twice the price of Canadian Tire across the street!
Rob told me the part cost him $ 280, i called Canadian Tire and they said it’s only $ 175, so I walk down the street to the parts supplier where ROB got the part and asked them to pull up the invoice and let me know the cost (I’ve paid for my parts here before, didn’t seem like a big deal). Parts supplier told me they billed Harrison’s for the part, $ 175. Claims his hour of work it a fair deal for $ 150, and that being a mechanic is a thankless job… Right. So I tell him the supplier told me the part was only $ 175, not the $ 280 he claimed. His story immediately changed to the part now costing him $ 210.
Regardless. Thankful he fit me in under my time constraints, not thankful he charged me a «cash deal» of $ 420 when I could have had in done at Canadian Tire for $ 270!
Will not be doing business with this shady mechanic.
