I am giving this Pizza Garden 1 star only because the pizza was good. The service was AWFUL. This Pizza Garden had a coupon on Mobile Bandit for 1 med. Margarita pizza with a soft drink for $ 12. I called to order two of these deals on the phone and then proceeded to mention we will be using the mobile bandit coupons. The guy proceeded to tell us that we could not order these over the phone and HAD to come into the restaurant in person to order… I then asked him what is the difference if I order these over the phone or in person. I finally decided to just pretend to order two medium Margarita pizzas(without the coupons) just so I could place my order and have the pizza ready for pick up. The old man was so rude on the phone and was yelling saying that they don’t want their franchise a part of mobile bandit… We finally went in to get the pizzas and he made a huge fuss about mobile bandit and basically didn’t like that we were getting a deal. Maybe next time you should think about taking your franchise off mobile bandit if you are going to make such a scene about it… very poor customer service and walked out of the store with a very sour taste.

I can’t comment on the pizza — because it never arrived! Ordered through their website, got an email confirmation. Then an hour and 45 mins later, when the pizza had not arrived, I phoned only to get a message that the business was closed. No where on their website did they say they were closed.

Because it was a nice day outside I decided to have a Lonsdale adventure day finally after 3 months of talking about it. This was one of my stops. Came here to pick up some single slices to go for on the way home.

I have wanted to try them so I dropped in for a quick slice. I chose capicoli and mushroom. She asked if I wanted it warmed up. I said ‘is it still warm? she said yes so I said don’t bother. I sat down, took a bite and it was stone cold. I guess we misunderstood. I think she was new and looked nervous in front of the boss. I thought of bringing it back to warm it but thought eh. Now cold pizza sucks, I hate it. So this was really a shame as I really liked the pizza. The crust was chewy with lots of air and a slightly yeasty flavour. I wonder if they use oo flour? The toppings were great especially the capicolli which had spice which is unusual for pizza places as its always dumbed down. Yes, this slice had real potential. They should never serve this cold. If its cold throw it in the oven for a sec with out asking because it could have been good. 2 slices and a pop $ 6 which would be worth it for hot pizza. $ 2.50 a slice Their full pizzas are all in the post $ 20. I want to try one but I think Ill wait for a coupon.

Food = 4 star … service 0 stars. Went here a couple weeks ago. Walk in, am greeted by the front counter lady… begin to ask my question about a by-the-slice pizza they had and she walked away and pointed to a guy in the back of the room and said«he’ll help you». Guy looks up at me with a flustered look then keeps slicing and packing pizzas in the back. Comes to the front about 5 mins later, I begin asking my question…“phone rings” uhhh someone will help you in a sec. Runs to the back. Girl comes back another few mins later. I’ll help you… Start asking my question, «one sec» she says. Goes off to the side, still in talking distance, begins putting pizza in box as well… About 10 mins later I got the answer to my question, and yes the pizza was delicious but not worth the nightmare I went through to order it. Fast-forward a couple weeks. I went in there Saturday in a rush and asked what one of the pizza’s in the window were and ordered a full one. It was amazing. A couple nights later I wanted to order in. Their website menu wouldn’t load properly on the menu so I called and told the girl what I thought the toppings were on the pizza. Before I could get 2 toppings out, she’s like no you got the wrong place. I explained to her that I was in there the day before and that if she’d let me explain the toppings, that maybe she could help me. Kept telling me «maybe you got the wrong place»… alright. Forget you dummy.

Love these guys’ pizza! After eating pizza in NY and LA my whole life, my world was shattered when I moved to Vancouver and couldn’t find a decent slice. Then, these guys opened up and I’m definitely there at least once a week! Decently priced, delicious, and the staff are incredible! Love going there!

So for a take out neapolitan style pizza place, I like their pizza. I will give them that. So why the 1 star? This location has the weirdest/dumbest hours, and the worst communication of what those actual hours are. To be honest, I still have no idea when they’re even open. You go to the pizza garden website — there’s no hours listed. You google them, it says they’re open to 11 pm Monday through Friday. Perfect. We bypass all the downtown pizza joints on my way home from the airport, drive to lonsdale and(drumroll please) they are closed. Strike 1. We decided tonight to try again. It’s 11 p.m. on a Saturday, so lets be honest — they’re bound to be open right? I order online and it goes through. My husband goes over to pick up the pizzas aaaaaaand…(Drumroll round 2) they’re closed. According to google, according to Unilocal, they’re open til 1 am. False. Incorrect. Lies. They are closed. There aren’t any hours posted on the window or anything either, so we’re still confused about when, if ever, they’re actually open. Heartbreaking because honestly I don’t want to eat panago. Rant over.

Really like this place and the staff/owner! Been looking for a Naples ‘style’ pizza without having to buy the whole pie or break the bank? Check out this place — $ 2.50 a slice — nicely done pizza’s, lots of toppings and good variety, chewy crust, filling and tasty. I’ve tried a few of their flavors and all of them are great! They always put their single slices in the oven to heat up without asking. For $ 6 you get two huge slices and a drink. YUMMMM!!! Asked how they taste so good and made so well — Pizza guy said«Made with love» :) Now that’s what I’m talking about! Great owner and staff. Great at accepting any form of money with no stupid minimum amounts — however cash is best bc debit/credit cost a lot for a small business A few suggestions… Get a heat lamp to keep the pizza pies hot as lights do not do that, and healthy for consumers. Get a table/tray for your hot sauce/white sauce and not put it on the trash bin Keep tables clean regularly and get rid of the shaky ones or fix them please Close the windows overlooking the tables… it’s fall/winter! Consider getting a liquor license Consider getting hot pepper flakes and parmesan cheese Great place to hang out or quick dash to grab a bite. My mouth is waterrrrrringggg… yum!
