Smiles by Pocock

I’m very surprised to read negativity regarding Smiles by Pocock — absolutely every aspect of my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I have had 3 phases of ortho throughout my life and I just completed the last at age 23 (I was far from blessed in the dental department). My final phase involved jaw surgery (performed by another excellent doctor specializing in oral surgery) and a second round of braces, all of which was completed in 7 months. It was tough wearing braces in university, but Dr. Pocock made my experience as short and sweet as possible; now I have a lovely smile to show off! The staff are extremely accommodating, caring, and upbeat. They have a great rewards system in place which keeps the potentially daunting experience fun for young ones. Highly recommend!

Most terrible orthodontist on the planet. He decided to pull my first premolar on only one side. As the result of his treatment my face (nose, mouth, chin) became slanted to one side by about 10 degrees. He tried blaming ME! He said to me, «why didn’t you tell me before taking your braces off that your face became slanted?» And silly me thought he was the doctor here! Then he gave me an estimation of 11k for putting the braces back on and try to re-​align everything.
I had temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) and clinical depression for two years after my braces experience with Dr. Pocock.
I had an amazing consult and everything was great until I signed the contract to pay monthly. Then the people I ever got to see thereafter were technicians.
