I have to budget an extra half hour before work in order to get a coffee and breakfast sandwich because it takes so long to recieve your order.

I enjoyed an Oreo Ice Capp. It was alright. I prefer the original Ice Capp more. There was plenty of Oreo bits.

Washroom smells like an alley way. Employees brushing hair with hands over food and hide when you call them out. Not sure if they speak english but I gave them a piece of my mind. Employees touch food with gloved hands and then touch hair, nose, face, etc and back on food. The plastic tip of the milk dispenser was touched with bare hands and then the employee proceeded to handle cash. Employee has a runny nose and cough and handling food and cash… kept rubbing nose. Employees eat merchandise while working. Communication is non-existent unless its just a straight order, otherwise they speak their own language and do their own thing. Unsanitary!!! Food handling issues! Language barrier issues!

This branch is just awful. They have untrained staff working at times who were unaware they have«light cream cheese», my bagel has been handed to me burnt with the cream cheese very unevenly spread and I think the worst part of their service is in the middle of serving you they start talking to each other in their mother tongue. Like I have said before I think we live in a multi-cultural country and having bilingual staff is a huge asset but they should only be using the other language when the customer is in need of it, otherwise it should be English that they speak among coworkers in front of customers!

Let’s be honest. None of us go to Tim Hortons for the quality of the menu, we go because it’s cheap, and we’re cheap! The quality of the service here used to be so awesome! It is almost 100% Filipino but they are just such sweet people :) but from what I understand new ownership has taken over that doesn’t treat them very well. And it now looks like most of the cool people are gone :( I’ve started going to another TH for the drive through. I never eat their food anymore because it’s so disgusting, and I can only handle their coffee with sugar and cream. But it’s cheap!

3 stars for the bran muffin. Not for the coffee. As a coffee drinker, I always seek out a bold cup before any type of interaction with another human being. If that cup is weak, it may not be a good day for those around me. When we first arrived in Canada(from the states), I looked for Starbucks as I drove through town to get to our hotel. I only saw one. I did, however, see lots of Tim Horton coffee cups… in peoples hands and advertised everywhere. I waited a couple of days because I was skeptical of putting my caffeine addiction in the hands of an unknown. I came to the point when I was running low on my Starbucks Via packs and had to stop at Tim Hortons. The sandwich combo that I ordered was reasonably priced and came with a sandwich, doughnut and coffee. The coffee reminded me of Dunkin Donuts coffee, when it is made at the Dunkin shop. Weak. I had to add one of my Via packs to my coffee to make it drinkable. Pro: The bran muffin was good, moist and tasty. The staff was friendly. The store was clean. Con: The coffee… and no discounts for a refill.

I thought Tim Horton’s was supposed to be the cheapest and best cup of coffee in Vancouver/Canada. I came in and ordered an ice blended caramel that didn’t really have any sugar in it and was pretty much all ice. My sister had a blended latte that tasted a little better, but not to the level of a great cup of coffee. I tried the Timbits at another place and it was just normal donut. Nothing else that is really special about it. I would much rather go to a stand alone donut shop with a great variety and get my coffee at Starbucks.

It’s rare that I say no to a donut and I break out in cold sweats if I just pass by. When I’m on a health kick *snicker* it’s a sour cream glaze and when I need some cheering up nothing helps short of a Canadian maple. Though finally I got in the habit of ordering a large one-and-one rather than an extra large one-and-one… these sizes. This review is about Tim Hortons in general but to be more specific this location on upper Lonsdale saves me the hassle of driving all the way to the bottom.

This very popular location is good when it’s good and horrible when bad. If you order more than a single item to go or if you customise a food orderIf you ALWAYS have to check it as twice now it’s happened to me. This location doesnt have the the specialty brewed coffee english toffee(just french vanilla and the reg blend) although the tim hortons downtown near waterfront offers it. And finally with a mostly Filipino staff, sometimes communicating is hard with the service often only passably pleasant. :(
