Discount Car and Truck Rentals

My friends and I just had a really horrible experience with them just 2 days ago. We had a whole day planned to visit Elora and so we chose to rent 2 cars with them to go there. We arrived on Saturday morning to their agency ready to pick up the 2 cars and the guy told us our French driving licences were not enough and that we needed international licences as it was company policy. We had them on the phone just some days before that and nobody ever mentionned this info to us when we asked they said French licences were fine. We have used this company before in other agencies across Canada and we were never asked to have international licences before. This is completeley outrageous and it ruined our plans as we could not get any car from their competitors on such a short notice — which by the way don’t ask to have international licences.
