Gasner Dental Associates

Dr. Gasner and his staff run the most incredible, well organized, and friendly dental office. They accepted me as a walk-​in 2 years ago and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Dr. Gasner is very knowledgable in all fields of dentistry and will go above and beyond in order to help you. I am thoroughly impressed and have referred all of my friends and family to see him.

Best dentist office in the city. Hands down. Mouths open.
They specialize in «gentle dentistry»… a.k.a. catering to the dentist-​phobic in this city. That’s me. It’s also Mr. Rosie S., so we love this place. They’ve seen us at our worst, and never judge the fetal position I sometimes take in the waiting room. We always go together and they book us appointments at the same time — VERY appreciated in our crazy lives.
I have lived all across, up and down Toronto, and I have never switched dentists (and I never will). I think it’s been about 12 years.
AMAZING THINGS:
— They play CP24 in the waiting room (@Vivek S. — add to your list!)
— There is a children’s play area in the waiting area, separate from where the chairs are (I appreciate not waiting beside yelling kids crashing toys around, especially when I’m already on edge because of being at the dentist)
— When you get into your room, you get in the chair and are handed a remote control and headphones. The headphones plug into the side of your chair (a la airplane seat) and the remote controls the TWO (synced) televisions in front of you. One is in front and up a bit when the seat is upright; the other is on the ceiling for easy viewing when prone.
— Read that last one again.
— Finally, you are given a pair of sunglasses to complete the process of shutting out the world around you (i.e. THE DENTIST) and zoning into whatever you choose on TV.
WHAT? I KNOW.
Every single member of the staff here is extraordinarily wonderful. They know who you are, what’s up in your life, remember what happened in your life 10 years ago… it’s remarkable. They all have warm personalities and great senses of humour, which helps calm the nerves. Rosie at the desk deserves a special shout-​out… one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met! We have experience with two dentists: Dr. Gasner (male, the namesake of the office), and Dr. Walters (female). They are both fantastic too… what else can I say?
This place makes sure you have the best possible experience at the dentist, even if you hate going!
