Really mediocre food, drinks and service. We were looking for a patio to get some drinks and appetizers. We asked for a drink menu hoping for some simple summer cocktails. They only had three drinks on the menu — two we tried and they were both cheap-​tasting and awful. My mom ordered a long island iced tea and couldn’t finish it. Apparently they need a new bartender. Our waitress was absentee and couldn’t answer any questions about drinks, but was fairly sweet otherwise.

They totally changed the décor and menu since I was last there and at first I didn’t like it
but now I’ve been back 3 times and it has really grown on me. I sat out on the patio
yesterday and the service was amazing. Fish and chips was great, large portion
and a great atmosphere.

Looking for decent pub fair in uptown toronto? Is Shepherds Pie your desire? Perhaps some bangers and mash? Well look no further the Pheasant has so somegood English pub fare in store.
Good selections of draft… and for me only a 5 – 10 bike ride from home.
The patio is on the Avenue Rd side so it is a bit dusty and loud for the rush of traffic trying to get to the 401. I prefer to sit inside.
