Pizza was subpar and wings with Italian dry rub were burned and too salty. Will not order from there again. When I called to complain they said they would give me a credit but they wanted to pick up the uneaten wings…

I’ve never been to a Pizza Nova before, but this one impressed me. I only went here because it was close to where I live and I wanted to try pizza while I was in Toronto.

Lately I’ve been in a calzone/​panzerotti phase where I’ve been testing out lots of different places. So far there is no winner declared but Pizza Nova is definitely in the lead. I like that their calzone comes baked not fried and you have the choice of regular or whole weat dough. There is a bit of fluid depending on toppings but when you bite into it it doesn’t become a gooey mess like at some other places. Price is reasonable at $ 5 for basic calzone with sauce and cheese plus $ 0.75 per topping. It also comes with marinara dipping sauce which is always appreciated. The staff at this location are also conssitently friendly which is a huge plus.

Pizza is like any other pizza nova locations — good, but the customer service was HORRIBLE. I went in and the workers were openly yawning very very loudly. There were leftover garbage on the tables that a customer left that wasn’t cleaned up the entirety that I waited for my large pizza there and there were HUGE clanging and slamming sounds that startled me — and trust me, I am not one to be easily startled.

This Pizza Nova location has been the provider for our company functions for the last four years and even when I’m ordering 25 party size pizzas, they are always delivered fresh, piping hot and on time!
We typically order a wide variety so that there is something for everyone no matter what their dietary preferences are… they even have gluten free (but it’s only available in a medium size).
Unfortunately, I don’t know the delivery man’s name but we always get the same gentleman and his customer service is outstanding!
Whenever I’m having a company function, small or large, I know this Pizza Nova location can always deliver (no pun intended… or maybe it was)! :)
