A good selection, not great, for beer. Never really that busy and from my experience in returning empties, staff are quick and courteous. Extra star for not judging me or the amount of empties I return.

I didn’t think it was possible to write a bad review about a Beer store but here goes. It’s a good thing that my first experience was super positive with the staff or I would’ve given this location one star. The first time I visited this brand new location I was overwhelmed with how pleasant the staff were. It’s a self-serve location and one of them approached me twice to ask if he could help me with anything. Normally I would find this pretty annoying but we was so darn sincere, I was pretty impressed. So that experience accounts for the two stars. My second experience was when I was returning my post Christmas season empties. The young guy first gave me attitude when I started packing my import beer bottles in with the rest of my empty liquour bottles. Then he apparently had a problem with how I loaded my six packs into their cardboard cases. All the while, he stood behind the register without lifting a hand although there was absolutely no-one else either before me or after me. I’m a pretty patient guy who can put up with a lot of rude behaviour but it’s a miracle that I didn’t lose my cool. When he asked if I wanted to buy anything, I said«no thanks» took my money and promptly drove off to another Beer Store a couple of kms away. Although this location is closer to where I live, I have no intention of returning to be given attitude. This is what happens when a government-run business has a monopoly of everything. The service levels drop. If you go there, make sure you dust off your BRC(Bottle Return Certificate) or risk the wrath of a rude, un-helpful, abrasive and arrogant young employee.
