Christmas Presence

I attended the opening of the final edition of Christmas Presence last night and it was fabulous as always but even better. They are located this year in what was the furniture and appliance part of Bay adjoining the second floor entrance. There are numerous trees decorated in this lovely big space and all you need to create the tree right next to it. There is free personalization for your ornaments and you can have an instagram photo made.
Delicious food products are being sampled and there is a large calk board to leave your parting comments. Don’t miss the aquarium, my favourite. Great work Christmas Presence!

This place is basically a Christmas miracle.
I was strolling through Place d’Orleans feeling exhausted and overwhelmed from the new H&M opening, and all of a sudden there were twinkling lights and Christmas trees that beckoned me in to this pop up Christmas shop.
At first I didn’t let myself get too excited. I’ve been in other temporary mall Christmas stores and have left disappointed. Not this place, friends.
First of all, the displays themselves are incredible — there are trees all around the store, each with a theme (there’s an adorable princess tree, a waterfall tree, nature tree and many more!). Aside from the beautiful trees, you’ll find walls and walls of stunning, humorous, classic and thematic ornaments. There is literally an ornament for everyone you know — fishing, animal lovers (with specific breeds and species!), craft lovers, scuba divers, nurses, gym rats, and everything else in between! It would be overwhelming if it wasn’t so damn amazing.
In addition to all things Christmas tree (lights! Ornaments! Garland!), they have everything Holiday entertainers could want — special serving dishes, decorative pillows, napkins, mugs (for hot cocoa, obviously.), stockings, sticking hangers, signs («Santa stops here!», «I’ve been a good girl!», «joy to the world!» and so on).
If you love the holidays, get yourself here ASAP. Not only will you snag some personalized gifts, you’ll leave with a dose of holiday cheer — something we could all use this holiday shopping season.
