Halal chicken wings and pepperoni — always good to find a pizza place that offers this option if you’re into that. The wings we had were just medium sauce and were really good — smaller wings but tasted great. we had the cheese and pepperoni walk in large pizza special and it was only 7.99 — service was fast. They also have a wing and tater combo special and the taters are as good as any I’ve had — well not as good as Mary Browns which is in the same plaza and also halal. Parking is a bit sketchy here and I wouldn’t want to eat inside their store as its kinda worn out.

2.5 stars. I was only a wee-lad when I last had Double Double in Scarborough, and so I guess I still had some fond memories of pizza, chicken and potato wedges… I ordered Deal #1 to share, which is a 3-toppings small pizza, potato wedges, garlic bread and your choice of 10 wings or 4 pieces of chicken. I chose the 4 pieces of chicken. Restaurant size: Enough space for a few friends to come in and eat, but this is more of a take out place! Portion size: Deal 1 was adequate for 2 people. The potato wedges and fried chicken help fill you up! Service: Prompt order, 10 minutes wait, seems pretty standard for a pizza place. Food quality: There isn’t any particularly special about the pizza, but it also wasn’t greasy. Which is good. However, the fried chicken and wedges were quite over-fried, Sure, it’s nice and crispy… but almost ALMOST to the point of burnt. There is some serious lack of standardized sizing for the potato wedges, as some of them seemed like a full third of a potato! The creamy garlic sauce is totally sweet and weird, compared to the one found at Pizza Pizza. Final thoughts: I don’t foresee a return visit since there are other pizza chains down the street, but if you’ve got a hankering for pizza, wings/chicken and wedges all from one place… maybe you could drop by. But if you really want chicken and wedges/fries, you could just go to the Mary Brown’s or KFC right beside it…
