Fazio’s Restaurant & Wine Experience

It’s been 5 years since my last review of Fazio’s, so here goes!
If you would like to take your significant other out for an evening of relaxed fine dining — this gem is the place to go. The atmosphere, the service, the food are all top notch. Let’s start with the atmosphere. It’s very relaxed with no pressure whatsoever to move you out for the next set of guests. You are there to experience your meal taking however much time as you wish. I would suggest that the attire would be formal-​casual (not jeans or t-​shirts) to formal.
My wife and I have travelled quite a bit, and the service here is at the top of any of the finest dining in the world. Take the time and talk to your waiter. You will be impressed at their breadth of knowledge. We’ve been going to Fazio’s for decades for special occasions (bit of a travel) and have never had a bad experience.
Ah, the food. Food is perfectly timed for a relaxed dinner. There is no rush. All aspects of the meal have always been the correct temperature, and maintain that temp throughout the meal. This is not microwave cooking — the chef out back is the best. The flavours are making me drool just writing this. I had the filet mignon and it was done perfectly — it couldn’t have been any better. The sides were just as good.
And save some room for dessert! Incredible desserts. Coffee was excellent. I normally like to have a specialty coffee, which they excel at, but planned to drive so bypassed it.
Pricing is very fair. With a few drinks, appetizers, meal and dessert, we are normally in for between $ 100-​$ 200. But this isn’t a fast food chain — this is fine dining and well worth the money.
All told, we were there for about 3 hours. We totally enjoyed the experience. Thanks Fazio! And btw, leave your cell phones in the car — enjoy each other’s company instead. 8-)

Stumbled upon this place accidentally and was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, every component of each dish was perfectly flavoured and complimentary. The portions were great and the presentation wonderful. I was extremely impressed with the temperature as well. Our server, Giulia was so wonderful, really friendly and professional but not stuffy, we joked and had a great time with her. Her service was above standard and I would love to go back and eat here again.

I went to Fazio’s for my mom’s birthday and loved the experience. The atmosphere was really nice. White table clothes, dim lighting and candles on the table. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have an excellent wine selection as well as some signature mixed drinks. I had the surf and turf entrée which was very delicious but a little bit on the small size. The chicken parm however looked amazing and was a very generous portion. You would be spending on average about $ 18+ per plate depending on what you get. I would definitely go back for another special occasion.

Outstanding from start to finish with nice bar, great atmosphere, and good wine list. I had the menu sausage pasta dish, which was very good and served with great essence and spice. We had group of about 18 and had our own private dining room.
This was my first visit, I would definitely return.

Went for my wife’s birthday as an evening out.
Our waiter suggested a very nice bottle of wine, and adjusted our meals to create chicken and veal Parmesan that aren’t normally on the menu.
For dessert my wife enjoyed the ricotta cheesecake while I enjoyed the Tiramisu.
This was exactly the evening and the experience we were looking for. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I have wanted to try fazio’s for a while, I took her this week for our anniversary. I ordered my steak medium well (pink inside) it came well done. When I asked, they took the steak to the kitchen and told me its the lighting. The problem wasn’t the lighting. My filet tasted funny. My wife’s chicken was definatly not fresh, it looked like something from cosco. My steak was likely also from frozen. Final bill for 2 entrees no apps or wine was 70! I will not return
