At first we thought going with the buffet but we finally ended up taking each a Combo A and Combo B. The plates/dishes were big enough to feed each of us very well at a point we didn’t take any desert. On top the food was excellent and the service quick.

Really good food. Very fresh ingredients. We had the buffet. Every thing was hot, Not too greasy, like some Chinese restaurants buffets. Excellent flavors… all food had it’s own flavor! It was very clean. The staff was very friendly, always right there to take our plates and assist us with anything we needed. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!

Is it 4 stars if you put this place in Vancouver? no. it’d be 1 star. But in the middle of nowhere, with 0 expectations, this place was quite surprising. Did the food have MSG? yes, lots of water needed Was it authentic and true to the flavour? hmm. not really. BUT, the veggies are farm fresh. it’s like picked right off the vines/trees/etc. The meat were fine, and a simple stirfry is very homely. It’s not gourmet Chinese dining, but the ingredients are great, and the food is pretty darn good for a town like Osoyoos.

The service was really great! I ordered the chop suey which apparently is not the same as the chop suey I normally order . It’s only bean sprouts and a few other veggies. The chop suey I normally order is a mixed medley of vegetables … I would like to say all and all the food was ok nothing to write home about

We(two seniors & daughter) enjoyed the buffet offerings for dinner on two occasions during our recent 5-day stay in Osoyoos — dinner on our day of arrival, and dinner on the evening before our departure. We enjoyed the first meal so much, it wasn’t difficult to decide where to go for our last meal in town! The buffet does not offer a particularly large number of dishes, but what they do have, offers quite a good and varied selection of different types of dishes, and with only a few minor exceptions, we found them presented well-prepared, warm, and tasty. Sure liked their version of ginger beef! And noted that the contents of the hot-tray pans were continually being attended to, allowing one to savour the dishes the way they should be, as fresh and warm from the kitchen as possible. I give the staff high marks in this regard!!! We also found they had more sushi & related items, and desserts offered this time, than when we dined there last year — and several were tasted, and enjoyed. The service to the tables was both friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the Golden Chopsticks … it provided some good value dining, and some fond memories of our Osoyoos stay to take home.

One of two Chinese Restaurants in Osoyoos, this restaurant is on the main drag through town. The facilities are older and quite dated, but it is clean and well taken care of. We spoke with the owner and found out they operate 2 Chinese restaurants in BC. Originally from the Calgary area, she and her husband continue the tradition of serving Chinese food to the people of small town BC in Osoyoos and Merritt BC. Being from Vancouver where they have some of the best Chinese food outside of Mainland China, I would be a pretty tough critic, but would have to say this is not bad for a Western style Chinese restaurant. The buffet had a good selection of noodles, rice, meat, chicken and veggie dishes. They even had sushi and dim sum items. The food was fresh, but can be a little bit greasy. They do not use MSG. The service is great, especially from the owner.
