Great coffee and pastries in very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth many return visits for coffee and snacks!

Fantastic spot. For two out-​of-​towners in town for business Kat and her beautiful accomplice made us some excellent coffee. The flowers made the place smell great and the trophy deer head made this hipster feel right at home.
I’ve never had a John Wayne before and it was greeeeeat.
We were super bummed that we would never find this place again, but on the way out of town stumbled upon it. We were so stoked we threw out our subpar coffee and decided for a second round

Lovely coffee shop and florist. (Florist first, coffee shop second I think.)
Good coffee in a lovely space. Didn’t try any pastries /​cookies — but they had a nice variety available. Including outdoor seating this place would be full if they got a dozen customers at once.
Inside are some wonderful plant (and flower) options — a very different take on a florist shop. Gorgeous plants in gorgeous containers with wonderful earthy elements (like bark, grape vine) are stunning to look at. (I wish I had a great space in my little abode to take one home with me. Alas, I don’t.) Air plants artfully displayed in glass drops, little succulents and interesting little artsy bits and pieces make this store a joy to sit in.
Outside is a bit more seating, amongst the outdoor plans.
Owner is wonderful.
All in all a nice experience.
Unilocal is going to ask me to rate it for Price Range. I’m going to rate it for the potted plants. Coffee is in-​line with everyone else’s pricing.

Blumenstudio is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Ottawa. If you need high end flower arrangements for a special event or for that special person, this is the best place in Ottawa for that. They also have an espresso machine that is capable of making all sorts of drinks which are to die for. Staff and owner are extremely skilled in what they do and are always smiling. Coming to Bluemenstudio is a great experience. Highly recommended.

Blumenstudio is the gorgeous passion project of Kat Kosek, who spent 17 years as a floral designer before opening the shop last year.
Everything about it simple, but well thought-​out and executed… like most good European things. My trips there have felt like a short excursion to the cafes and florists of small towns in Germany. Good things are happening here, but they’re modest.
In addition to gorgeous floral designs, Blumenstudio serves top-​notch espresso beverages, pastries from Art-​is-​In, and sells a small variety of newspapers and magazines.
It’s absolutely my new favourite spot to spend a few hours of the afternoon, curled up in a cozy chair, drinking a café coretto.

If you are looking for something beyond the spray-​painted carnations from the chain grocer, Blumen Studio is a great new option for Ottawa’s floral majority. With an engaging and artistic owner, this floral studio also doubles as a small café, in case you are looking for the aroma of a delicious espresso to compete with the regular blumen fragrances.
Our stop today was for a small floral arrangement for a relative just discharged from the hospital. The beauty and artistry of the arrangement brought a big smile and lots of admiration from the patient. A good stop.

II love Kat’s flower store/​café. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The store is super inviting, flowers are amazing and well presented. It is not one of those places where you just get lost in greenery and cannot choose anything. They also have amazing vases and flower containers. Coffee is another strong side of this place: espresso is to die for and very nice sweets and chocolates…
