History

Established in 1992.

CertaPro Painters is North America’s most referred painting contractor and we, David Barron and Etienne Dupuy, are the co-owner’s of CertaPro Painters Ottawa. We started this business because we wanted to bring a level of customer service to the residential painting that is not commonly found. Our goal has always been to do great painting work our customers can be proud of while delivering world class customer service.

Based in Ottawa, we have performed thousands of painting projects with that focus in Ottawa, Ottawa West, Ottawa Center, Ottawa East and Ottawa South. We’ve painted for your neighbors and friends, and have probably painted a home on your block!

Business Owner

David opened his CertaPro franchise in Ottawa in the end of 2012. When the opportunity presented itself to build the CertaPro Painters business in Ottawa, it was an easy decision. Along with a little hard work, David brings a passion for paint technology, customer service, integrity, and fun to the business. He has always had a passion for business and ran a SudentWorks Painting franchise twenty years ago. David received an Honors Business Administration degree from Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Since graduation he was Vice President of Sales at Partnerpedia Corporation and Vice President & Consultant at TalentMap.
