History

Established in 1998.

Steve and Natalie Cody first discover the Party Industry while taking a year off to spend as a family, after selling a previous equipment rental business to Hertz Equipment Rentals. A close family member was getting married and they had to find party rentals and party supplies. They ended up driving all over town and going to several different places to have their needs met. Throughout this process, what stood out to them, was the opportunity to create a one stop Party Store that was easy to find, offered party rental products, balloons and party supplies, and one that could become part of a community. Steve and Natalie’s goal from the very beginning was to create a successful formula combining both rentals and retail in the Party and Event Business.

After 10 years of experience and really getting to know the business, Steve and Natalie were ready to share what they had created with others. They have created a very fun and profitable formula and began to franchise.

Ever since Brad was a young boy he was determined to be successful. Brad at an early age knew that in order for him to achieve the goals he wanted he had to have a business of his own where his energy, creativity and determination would really pay off.

Brad always had a thirst for excitement. What would be a better place to be then in a Party store and Event Rental business? After meeting with Steve Cody in July 2010 there was no doubt in his mind he needed to own a Cody Store! After working for nearly 6 months in a corporate store and at the age of 25 Brad acquired the Cody Party Gloucester location on February 1^st 2011. He spent days in the warehouse, on the road performing deliveries, on the sales floor and getting all systems into place to ensure he had a great understanding of all aspects of the business. Brad aspires to be people’s first choice for their party needs and looks forward to expanding into new locations!
