We do pre-​purchase and pre-​warranty expiration inspections and have been Ottawa’s Automobile Authority since 1984. We’ll Repair ONLY What’s NECESSARY with your prior authorization and advise you of other potential problems we notice without pressuring you. We only use premium quality parts and stand behind every repair with our iron clad 12 month 20,000 km warranty. We’ll provide you with a Free Loaner car or offer you a ride, while we repair your vehicle. Our certified Class «A» Technicians receive In House Satellite training so your car will be repaired right the first time. Our comprehensive maintenance programs ensure that your vehicle is dependable and your family is safe.

History

Established in 1984.

We started out in 1984 at the Sunoco in Hog’s Back at the corner of Meadowlands Drive and Prince of Wales Drive. Our business name was «Meadowlands Service Centre» providing complete service to import and domestic vehicles specializing in tune up, electrical and air conditioning as well as towing and plowing services. We relocated to 2599 Carling Avenue at Forest in September 4, 1997, renamed our business «Jim Dickinson Auto Tech» and expanded our services to include japanese and europeon imports and used car sales.

Jim is a Class «A» Auto Technician with Interprovincial Seal with

Years in this business: 30 years experience includes servicing brake, suspension, steering, general repairs and factory specified maintenance to all makes and models. Jim specializes in tune up & fuel injection, electrical & air conditioning.

Jim is married with three grown daughters aged 23 – 28 years old All three are in university and contribute to our monthly newsletter «Jim’s Trade Winds». The eldest lives on the west coast and married last March. Jim loves to swim, run, sail, ski, play hockey and tour on his motorcycle.
