This Subway has gone through a lot of owners. Why is this relevant? They do not do good business, and sell to someone else — and that means differing owners have differing standards and low amount of customers means not the greatest turnover for their veggies.
It is obvious they freeze their veggies, as a way to accommodate wavering traffic, so I stay away from them (besides, I much prefer roasted peppers on my sandwiches anyway). However, they have mastered making the right amount of bread for their traffic: on occasion, they may have run out of your favourite flavour, but they always have fresh bread!
They replaced the old soda fountain with the new ones where you can select a whole bunch of sodas. As someone who had an intolerance to the sodas in the old fountain, I like having new options!
All in all, it’s not the best Subway in the city (better ones downtown) but it is decent. I still go there when I can’t/won’t cook or am watching a Chuck marathon.
