The Handmade Bride is an indie wedding shop in the charming neighborhood of New Edinburgh in Ottawa. We are on a mission to inspire you to customize your wedding through bold, creative and fun products handcrafted by independent artisans. Our vision is to promote handmade, eco-​friendly wedding items crafted by individual designers and artisans as an alternative to mass produced products.

The shop boasts many local artists’ work, from stationery to decorations to unique accessories like custom bow ties and eco-​bouquets, as well as bridal gowns and bridesmaid’s dresses with a vintage whimsy and retro flair. Most everything is customizable to your taste and budget; we are devoted to helping you create the wedding you want.
