The Kessel Run

This is the game store you are looking for.
Seriously, I really love this location. The selection of board games on offer is great and when we went in found just what we were looking for (Sheriff of Nottingham, would recommend!). The guy in the store (I presume he was an owner) was talkative and made us feel welcome. He was happy to answer our questions and gave us some of his own recommendations for what we might like to play.
Once we made our purchase we were told we were welcome to play our new board game in the Cantina next door — a Star Wars fan service bar — which we did. The overall experience from buying the game to being allowed to stay and play a while was really special.
Behind the game store are a few rooms which can be used to play games and hold gatherings. I haven’t done this yet but might in the future.
Overall I can highly recommend this store.

If you like Star Wars, board games, and alcohol, this is the place for you! The Kessel Run is the portion of the building that sells board games, while The Cantina is a Star Wars themed bar.
The Cantina is a charming little space which offers people the opportunity to enjoy a drink or two in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, with music and Star Wars paraphernalia that catches your interest and reminds you of your favourite moments of the saga.
The drinks they offer are also Star Wars themed, such as the «Yoda» and «Bantha Milk». While these mixed drinks have been rebranded from other drink names, it nonetheless adds to the overall ambience and experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and extremely patient, especially when people ask them to play «that song» (yes, they indeed have a 10 hour loop). They will also organize various events to sometimes include live band entertainment.
As for the Kessel Run, it is your typical board game store that offers the board games, miniatures, toys and merchandise on par with other niche board game stores. It is kept clean, the staff are friendly, and if you cannot find something, they will find it and order it for you.
Finally, if you purchase a board from the Kessel Run, the staff at the Cantina are more than happy to let you play it at a table in their bar over a drink or two. It is most definitely worth checking out over an evening or weekend!

This place is awesome! A board game store connected to a Star Wars themed bar, with a game lounge in the back — super awesome.
I have only had the chance to visit twice, but so far I have had great experiences. My first time in was to see, in person, the Star Wars Bar (The Cantina). It’s great! They have a Storm Trooper standing in the corner, lots of photos and posters from the different movies, and best of all the licensed bar sells Star Wars themed drinks. The Bantha Milk is particularly yummy.
I was particularly impressed that the store also had a copy of a specific game that we had searched for high and low. We bought it on the spot, went to the bar, and immediately played the game ver drinks.
Orleans is not particularly in our neighbourhood, but it’s worth the travel — totally awesome!

Great gaming store, lots of space to play and hang out, friendly staff, only complaint I have is their RPG supply tends to sell out pretty fast, but that’s hardly a fault.
