I know, I know… why am I reviewing the ultimate in ubiquitous Canadian business(even though it really is an American company now). I just wanted to say a few things about Tims to those new to Canada or new to a Tims experience. Look, Tims sells coffee, but specializes in black coffee. You will not find specialty coffees here(lattes, espresso, cappuccinos — I know Tim sells cappuccinos, but they are NOT cappuccinos). The food(soup and sandwiches) are pretty decent — although the taste of the sandwiches runs to middle of the road, lowest common denominator. Nothing too spicey or outlandish here. The real bummer about Tims is the fact that it is a cash only(or Mastercard… Mastercard?) but no debit card. And there is no ATM machine. Not a bright choice in this day and age.
