This is the original Tommy’s Chipwagon(there’s also a #2). It’s located on the corner of Wellington and Holland, right in front of the TD Bank. You’ll find it here every weekday, and I’ve even seen it when the weather isn’t too great outside. It’s quite popular, as there are always people grabbing a bite to eat here. What I love about this chip truck is that it’s family owned and has been in business for a really long time. The same lady makes the food and serves it to you, and sometimes has a help of her daughter. They’re very fast and friendly, and always have big smiles. They serve your regular fare, with hot dogs and sausages, Pogos, burgers and chicken burgers, fries, and a few different kinds of poutine. They also have various condiments and cold drinks. My boyfriend used to pick up some quick eats here all the time, and one day, I had a serious craving for poutine, so we walked over here. The gravy was hot, the cheese curds were gooey, and there was a HUGE serving of fries. Though, at first, I was pretty confident that I could finish it, after receiving such a large helping, I had to split my poutine with my boyfriend. I was absolutely satisfied and really appreciated the great service.
