Love this store! The clothes are cool, but a bit pricey for me so I normally head straight for the sale rack. I’ve found a lot of great stuff here!

If you’re out and about in the
Byward market, and have some time to shop,
do stop into Trustfund on sussex.
For males, I found the selection limited, and thought that the shop could carry
better items from the brands they have a relationship with. Specifically, Rogues Gallery and Tretorn.
In any case, the staff here are always very nice and not pushy.
There seems to be a wide selection for women, and often I see female clientele shopping here so… it’s a good place to keep an eye open for buying gifts :)

Between Trustfund and their sister store Roadtrip I find Trustfund to have very nice jeans (7 and a few others) but the selection (for men) of everything else to be lacking. You’re better off going to Roadtrip to find your shirts.
Trustfund carries the more expensive items between the 2 stores.

Trustfund is one of the very few hip upscale clothing shops in Ottawa that offer the latest fashions for men and women. While the majority of the store is dedicated to womens clothing, there is a decent selection for men which includes brands such as Penguin, Spiewak (of NYC), Rogues Gallery and other not so mass produced lines.
The staff, on my visit, were friendly and helpful and cheerily assisted in helping me find my size. The clothing tends to favor the 20 to early 40 year set and prices are average for the brands and quality that are stocked.
Who knew that the ByWard Market district had such a nice shop, but I’ve found the more interesting retail stores to be those that face the US Embassy on Sussex Drive.

I really like the concept of this store, but I’m sure I like the execution. Too much junk packed into too small a space. Maybe if they eliminated some of the chafe, and kept the nicer pieces it would be better.

This is an incredibly expensive store in the ByWard Market that carries clothing for 20 somethings with a casual style, but a taste for well made clothing.
About 2⁄3 of their store is for women, while the other 1⁄3 is for men. Men can choose from nice ($ 200+) jeans, ironic T-​shirts, button up shirts, classic coats and a few other items. Women can choose between somewhat loose-​fitting cotton shirts in a variety of colours, dresses in amazing fabrics, classic coats, ($ 200+) jeans, vests and a few other types of clothing.
The staff at Trustfund are very nice and not too pushy. The décor is pretty minimal, but very unique. I hadn’t realized before I first came there that I too want a moose antler chandelier, gorgeous huge old-​fashioned chair and large antique doctor’s bag.
