Staff here are always friendly, upbeat and welcoming. There are always really good vibes coming from this spot. Though the space is a bit cramped, and usually busy, the selection here is not bad. Though I am partial to deep, rich, vintage reds, I do not mind Jackson-Triggs wines. The Wine Rack carries Ontario wines exclusively. Overall, I can appreciate this shop when I am in a pinch, though I prefer the LCBO when shopping for wine.

This Wine Rack had really great service! The store is small and the selection is nothing special compared to other Wine Racks, but this one has the sweetest staff. There was one lady working when my boyfriend and I stopped in. She was very friendly and attentive, and more than willing to help. We’re quite young, in our early-to-mid twenties, and we’re used to getting the cold shoulder from older adults who assume we’re just some punk kids. This lady was different. She greeted us like any other customer, and didn’t automatically assume we knew nothing about wine. We really appreciated her courtesy, and I’d definitely choose this location over others with more selection but terrible service.

The staff here are excellent. You can go to the LCBO and ask around for help and usually get it but the Wine Rack has this sort of local community feel to it because it’s small place and the wines are all local to Ontario. This store is quite small and usually has one person at the cash and another one or even two people helping people as they walk in. They also ensure you have the option of getting the bottle you want chilled. I also like how they ask if you want a bag or not and to avoid wasting bags they charge you extra for a bag so bring your own! The selection of wines here has increased and they now have Ontario ice wine and some of their bottles can go for up to $ 50. Although, I do enjoy just picking up a cheapo bottle of $ 8 wine on a Friday night… and they’re open really late too!
