Mossimo’s Pizza & Subs

Big and beautiful place. Lots of seating both inside and out. The food takes a while to get to you but the pizzas are pretty huge and greasy and delicious and so are the wings. They will definitely fill you up real good. Staff is friendly but it is a popular and busy place so service isn’t amazing.

Went in recently on a thursday. Old location was great for pizza by the slice, although had observed on more than one occasion the owner having a verbal confrontation with customers for no real reason (red flag). It will still good pizza so decided to try new location. For a small business, customer service does not seem to be a concern here, surprisingly cause pizza places come a dime a dozen. Not able to provide substitutions for things that would actually cost them less? This alone I am okay with but when I asked the server responded in the most condescending tone which is not okay (and it was a manager). Customers should be able to ask simple questions about the menu without being persecuted by both management and owners. After the $ 6 overcharge we received, the pizza was gummy and greasy. 2 stars is only for the awesome chicken tenders. Rethink your management mossimos [and owner (s)].

Was really impressed on how good the pizza was. The large pizza was way bigger then I thought it was gonna be, way to much for one person. Location is really nice as well. The restaurant it’s self is a much nicer improvement from the old place. Prices were just a little high but well worth it.

My Family visits Mossimos regularly. It’s kid friendly but usually very busy so you need to be patient but it’s worth the wait. Pizza and wings are very good. The pizza is some of the best in the Niagara region.

Went here last night for dinner. It was pretty busy. Seemed hectic. People really love this place. The pizza was good, greasy a bit but it was still good. The waiter was knowledgeable with the beer selection. Gave us some information when we asked. It wasn’t anything special, I would come back if I was in the area but not go out of my way to come here. It was mediocre service but food was good. You can’t screw up pizza.

Visit Mossimos on a regular basis. Kids and I really enjoy the pizza and wings. Yes it takes a little longer then other pizza joints but for us it’s worth the wait. Someone mentioned Volcanos pizza which is 5 min drive from Mossimos but serves awful pizza in a tiny dingy restaurant. Don’t stare at your watch. enjoy a good conversation with your guests and you’ll love Mossimos food.

Wings were very good here, Plenty of flavor and crispy. Would definitely try the wings again.
Got the pizza and wings combo. Pizza I found was pretty greasy, maybe too greasy, hence the 3 star selection. Still doesn’t beat Pizza Pizza.
Service was good.

My favourite place to get pizza, and wings! Have never had a problem there with service or with the food. Delivery is also never more then an hour even on busy nights! Pizza is delicious and I don’t know a single person who dislikes their pizza even a little bit! Their combos and prices are also great! Highly Recommend!

I’ve had decent experiences at this place before. Today however was notably below par. I bought 3 extremely greasy slices at the recently raised price (still reasonable tho). They had 6 ½ full pepperoni pizzas on display for slices. I asked the person at the counter for a slice from the fresher looking pies at the top, but to my surprise she refused and proceeded to heat up the 3 oldest slices. It was weird because this was after lunch rush, and the place was empty. As well as being clearly old, they were also still cold, so I asked again for 3 fresh, hotter slices. Denied again, offered to reheat the shitty ones. Disappointing customer service + greasy, cold slices.

The worst service from the waitress right up to the unconcerned manager!!! Pizza tastes like cardboard. Nachos has no flavour!

Was unable to sub bacon for italian sausage on the works pizza, forcing us to spend three bucks more on a 12 $ pizza. Bruschetta dough was gummy. Pizza was ok.

Decent pizza, wings good. Just a little too slow with the food coming out. I guess ‘we’ should be a little more relaxed and enjoy conversation and a beer while we wait.

I loved Mossimo’s at their old location. Sure the parking was smaller and the building was smaller too. The quality was there. And it was always consistent.
Lately however is different story:
Summer 2014 I order a large pizza (chicken bacon mushrooms on red base) and 30 wings (medium and super saucy). Motherf — –! They messed up my order on the whole pie. To add insult the wings are dry.
This is after you wait their super ridiculous wait time to get it (on average its 40 – 45 minutes). This is the first time (not the last time either) that I had a complaint. And a bigger insult was I could take it or wait another 40 minutes. I asked them if they would discount me anything for their mistakes and was told no. No reason why or anything. I asked for their manager who then gave me gruff about me complaining.
Really? You’re going to go there with a loyal customer who has promoted your business all these years? F— you pal!
It’s only after one of the long time waiters there who recognizes me does he go over and smoothes it all out and finally they redo the entire order on expedited service (so the manager is a complete goof).
Am I happy in the end? Yes… Was it worth the frustration due to their lack in superior customer service? No.
Also a few other times being in the new location:
They charged me 4 refills when its supposed to be free refills. And not everyone is on the same page with that either.
Lackluster food again… And same dry chicken wings…
Please bring people up to date on ALL your menu items. Please send all your employees to a customer service school. And re hire all the former employees that made your food at your old location because the new ones SUCK.

I went on a Sunday with a group if 4. The location is nice. Much nicer then the old one. But the wait was ridiculous. When i went there was an hour wait for a table. Ann hour. For pizza. Then once we got a table the service was slow. Drinks weren’t refilled. Took an hour to get pizza. I would recommend you go to the near by volcanoes pizzeria. They have better pizza, better staff. And it will be 20 mins and you will be enjoying your pizza.
