I’m madly in love with Township 7. There, I said it. And you should be too! Their newly renovated tasting room has large windows looking into the production area, and the wines are organised in a clean and aesthetically pleasing way. It’s also a bit brighter in here now, so it feels quite modern and classy. Special shout out to Paul who ALWAYS remembers us, and is unfailingly cheerful and friendly. He excitedly showed us their 2014 releases just after they came out, and always talks us through the wines no matter how busy they are. There’s a really attention to great service here that you don’t always find. But let’s talk about the real stars of the show: the wines. Before I came here for the first time(probably about 3 years ago) I didn’t like Chardonnay. I thought it was metallic, sour, and quite dull tasting; boy, was I wrong! Township 7 Chardonnay surpasses all others like a Tesla to a pogo stick. Their Reserve Chardonnay especially is buttery, creamy, and oaky in a way I’ve never tasted before. Because of that wine, I joined their wine club, and now receive 8 amazing wines 3 times a year(it’s not nearly enough, ps.). Their Black Dog is a Club 7 exclusive wine and it will absolutely knock your socks off! If you don’t join the club, try their Reserve 7 or the NBO — they’re both excellent reds. Honestly, I’ve raved about the club so much that I now have 2 friends who have joined. For serious. They have a new winemaker who’s really playing with the wines in a slightly different way, but still respects the Township 7 vibe — I’m excited to see what next year’s wines taste like! The prices on the wines are also very reasonable(plus you get 10% off if you’re with the club!) So you can grab a couple of nice bottles for about $ 17 each! Zero guilt! They also have some fun events that happen throughout the year in their gorgeous grounds, so keep an eye out for them! Clearly I can’t recommend them highly enough, and I strongly encourage you to head over next time you’re in the area, and if you see a bottle of their wine in the store, grab it — you won’t be disappointed!

Wine was only ok, Prices were moderate but over-priced for what was offered. Tiny tasting room on the side of the road was cramped and un-inspiring. Give it a pass.

They had a lot of wines and I think we tasted 5 or so. We got a sauv blanc and I think a cab. The lady helped us out a lot and told us where to go next.

This was the last pit stop in our tour. We were greeted warmly by Sandy who introduced us to a variety of whites and reds. I found the reds here to very tasty and all very reasonably priced. It was interesting to try their un-oaked & oaked chardonnay and I particularly enjoyed a very lovely blend of merlot/cab sauv.

Was not a fan of the wines. However, the tasting fee went towards the SPCA(and was by donation) which I liked very much!

These folks make very drinkable, very reasonably priced wines, red, white, and rose. Of the wineries we tried, they were definitely the best value for the money. Their Syrah is particularly good. Super friendly folks, too. Well worth the visit, and they also have a winery somewhere in Langley, so if you have bulk wine needs(or just decide you want a case of that Syrah), you have an option closer to home.
