Growing up in the Peterborough area, Joanna is proud to be operating the Alair Homes office in Peterborough and surrounding cottage country. With her strong personal skills and eye for design, she offers full service Project Management to her clients. So what can you expect from Joanna? Her philosophy is that proper planning is the key to a successful and rewarding building experience, and it all starts with a strong relationship with her clients. «The more a client shares with me, the more I can help them. I like to take an educational approach then be completely upfront about realistic costs and timelines. When we collaborate openly I get to know exactly what’s important to the client and can find ways to make their budget go further.»

Growing up in the Peterborough area, Joanna (Sousa) Smeeth has been interested in construction since she was a young girl. For the past decade, Joanna has been honing her construction skills, first with a Bachelor of Architecture from Ryerson University where she minored in Project Management, then in the field where she worked on high profile institutional construction projects and learned first-​hand the importance of accurate budgeting and scheduling. Joanna’s naturally enthusiastic and approachable persona led her into residential construction, where she could interact on a more personal level with her clients. Her skills and demeanor landed her a project manager role on a hit HGTV /​W Network renovation show. Joanna is proud to be operating the Alair Homes office in Peterborough and surrounding cottage country, and excited to bring her technical background, expertise in architectural planning and design, and vibrant personality to enhance the Alair Homes process for her clients.
