Wow! What a nice surprise… went to Long Island Fish & Chips with my parents who live very close to the restaurant. It has been totally renovated over Christmas 2009 and now looks and feels like you’re sitting in your own living/​dining room. We all had delicious, fresh, perfectly-​cooked halibut with chips. The batter on the fish is a great complement… not too thick so as to hide the flavour and freshness of the fish. The chips were homemade, hot, and perfectly cooked. Our server was very friendly and cheerful and provided just the right amount of attention. We’ll definitely be back and I’ve already recommended Long Island to some friends who live nearby.
