With offices or agents at every port of entry we provide electronic Customs clearance using electronic data interchange (EDI) in Canada, U.S. and Cuba.

We have an office in Havana and are one the few international freight forwarders offering regular ocean and air services to and from Cuba.

Our free freight invoice auditing program is available to non-​clients with no obligation. We review all freight bills looking for overpayments and then applying for refunds from various carriers. One importer received a $ 50,000 refund from Customs alone.

History

Established in 1999.

Prior to AFG being launched management were receiving input from importers and exporters. The input was related to the type of service they were receiving at their current freight forwarder. It was a source of annoyance that client was transferred from department to department based on the mode of transport and status of shipment.

In addition to negotiating the best possible freight rates for our clients AFG provides a personal service. Our clients have one Account Manager and point of contact for ALL import, export, Customs clearance, warehousing and distribution activities.

To our knowledge this internal system is unique in the international freight forwarding industry.
