History

Established in 1997.

We are an award winning PADI 5 star rated Instructor Development dive centre, serving the needs of water loving Montrealers for over 15 years. Our personalized service and focus on quality set us apart, and over the years we’ve earned a reputation for outstanding customer service.

In 2010 Action Scuba was acquired by Gary Davis, long time instructor and manager at this PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre.

Meet the Business Owner

Gary D.

Business Owner

Gary is one of those rare individuals whose passion for the sport of scuba diving is matched only by his love of teaching. A PADI Course Director, Gary has personally certified over 1000 scuba divers, and he continues to teach all levels of courses at Action Scuba, along with other members of his large instructor team. Gary believes that every new diver who walks through the doors of Action Scuba should be treated with respect and deserves his personal attention. You’ll often see him working behind the counter, helping customers select dive gear, or answering questions. Gary is not only an expert scuba instructor for both recreational and technical diving, he is also an accomplished underwater photographer and enjoys sharing his knowledge on this subject with others.
