Visited this YMCA on a day pass to play squash. The courts were well maintained, except for a small space where the wall should meet the floor on either side. Weird.
Otherwise, it was a typical YMCA. Equipment looks fine enough. The men’s plus locker was nice, hot tub was nice and the steam room was okay.
The thing that drives me crazy is the pricing. It’s just WAY too high for what the YMCA is supposed to stand for. Of course, you can apply for a price break, but that means revealing a whole bunch of personal financial information. If they were truly all about «access for all» they would lower their prices to a much more reasonable level that most people could afford.

The staff here really treats you with respect. They are quite pleasant, polite and well schooled on making paying clients feel important and welcome.
Having been a client now for 2 years, I sort of feel like Norm walking into Cheers… everyone knows your name.
They have started some renovations as well which were needed and that is why I removed 1 star.
We love it so much here we have a family membership!
Can‘t beat the cost!
