History

Established in 2007.

Formula Industrial got its start as an industrial equipment and repair company specializing in Millwright and Welding services for mines and sawmills. After relocating to the greater Vancouver area, Formula Industrial began branching out into the manufacturing sector. The owner, Greg Epp, started a second apprenticeship as a machinist. From this point on, and after witnessing firsthand the lack of quality and timely delivery of off-​shore products, Formula Industrial has made it their mission to bring back and help rebuild Canada’s industrial and manufacturing sectors.

We support all local industry and manufacturing. This was the deciding factor in acquiring the York Line boring equipment. We believe and stand behind North American made equipment. Together we can make North America a global leader in manufacturing and heavy equipment repair.

Greg P.

Business Owner

Greg is a hard-​working and efficient tradesman who has strong leadership qualities. He thrives in a team environment and takes pride in being accountable to his fellow workers. Greg is a Red Seal ticketed Millwright, a former member in good standing of the Canadian Forces and is currently working to complete a second trade certification as a machinist. He is also a passionate community servant, volunteering his time with Coquitlam Search and Rescue. In short, Greg is a respectful team player who enjoys learning, taking on new challenges and always strives for the highest degree of personal excellence.
