The owner is unpleasant. His lack of customer service skills reflects in the staff unfortunately. He clearly does not respect his team. Bottom line: poor management =unhappy staff=unhappy customers. Do not support this location.

Incredible. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think a Poco pizza joint, let alone an Indian cuisine, would have butter chicken that can beat any restaurant in Vancouver… or something like that LOL… Smooth, tomato-y, not too sweet, just right. Pieces of chicken cut just right too. Primarily a takeout delivery place, with a few tables, not a date Nite though if s/he loves butter chicken, it won’t be a problem. Naan bread, knowing no chunks of garlic but smeared with garlic butter, good because bread so pillowy. Great they even deliver for lunch. Friendly service, fluent English. Ill be back.

It’s the closest thing in the neighbourhood really. That’s what draws us there. There isn’t a lot around the Shaughnessy area. It’s close and convenient and the pizza isn’t bad. I agree with Billy that previously posted, at least all the pizzas are made fresh to order. They toss the dough and everything(nothing is rolled out by machines) and at least the distribution of their toppings is good! Ask for their 2/$ 23 deal or was it $ 25 for 2 mediums? Just ask. Great deal for a movie night or something! :)

Really mediocre, there are much better choices in the area. Pizza tastes just wrong. Dough is horrible and bitter, and there’s too much of it. I would order from anywhere else in the area but here. Paid way too much for a medium pizza $ 24 with tip. It was barely 12″ wide. I would have rather had Me and Ed’s or Mega-bite. Much better choices in the area. I would never give them a second chance considering that I experienced horrible customer service as well as a sub-par over priced product that wasn’t prepared properly. I have been to other Papa John’s in the Lower Mainland and Tri-City area but this was the worst by far.

Cute Korean couple operate this Papa John’s pizza place. They were very welcoming and they make their pizzas fresh. Some places have them pre made and kept in a heat oven. Small pepperoni was 5.99 and it definitely hit the spot.

The pizza here is only mediocre at best. There are better pizza places but if you have friends over and need a quick meal, Papa John’s is quick and conveniently located to central Poco. Pizzas are a bit expensive compared to other chains. It’s mainly the location convenience that brings people here.
