Opened by Brian Sword and Tom Jolly but purchased by Terry Stillman December 1st, 2010. Terry has owned bookstores since 1981 and is an acknowledged expert in the field of children’s books.

Business Owner
Terry began buying and selling books in Toronto, Ontario in 1971 while working in advertising at Simpson-Sears. After moving to B.C. in 1973, Terry issued catalogues of books on a regular basis until he bought his first used bookstore in Vancouver in 1981. He operated «Stillman Books» in two Vancouver locations and as an online business as well, becoming very knowledgeable in the field of children’s books, authors and illustrators. He has written dozens of articles on the collecting of books and on the operation of a bookstore. As well as owning and operating the general bookstore, Jolly Olde Bookstore, Terry still operates Stillman Books online, specializing in collectible children’s books.
