Description

Specialties

A place to savor and taste, where the passion for our local cheeses is combined with great wines from around the world.

Discover a great variety and diversity of Québec cheeses, perfectly matured inside our cheese cellar — an exclusivity in the heart of Old Québec, at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. A unique room in Quebec presenting more than 30 artisanal cheeses from the province of Quebec.

History

Established in 2014.

Formerly the Bar St-Laurent, the hotel bar was completely renovated in 2014 during the major renovation project of Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. 1608 is a bar named after the year Quebec City was founded by the French explorer Samuel de Champlain.
