Found a deal on Expedia for $ 110/day. Called and they matched and added a free breakfast. When we checked in they gave us the breakfast coupons, as well as free drink/ice cream. The location is actually very nice. Valet parking about 50 yards from the front entrance with in-out privileges. They upgraded our room(yay!). The room was small, but not uncomfortable. Very clean, comfortable with extra-modern amenities, like a rain shower with variable special effect lighting, electric shower curtain, plenty of dimming lights, a huge LCDTV on a convenient wall mounted hinge. Nice towels, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, quiet, good Internet service and conveniently located. Great service, reasonably priced and an overall great experience. We will definitely return.

We picked this hotel based off of reviews, location, and price. We were debating between here and the more famous hotel across the plaza. There is not a doubt in my mind that we made the right choice. It’s probably one of the most comfortable, charming hotels I’ve ever stayed in — there’s just a feel to the rooms that you won’t find in a large hotel. The building is very old, so the rooms have little quirks, like stone walls and original fireplaces. It’s been updated though, so don’t worry, there are all of the comforts you’d expect like a coffee machine and in-room TV, as well as heated bathroom floors. To get to some of the rooms you have to walk through a hallway, which gives it a feeling of a B&B. You can’t beat the location either, our window looked right out on the Place D’Armes and it’s a very short walk to restaurants, shops, La Citadelle, bars and a quick ride to the train station by taxi although you could walk if you really wanted. The staff was very polite and friendly and even let us leave our bags when we arrived early. I left my passport behind on accident(every traveler’s nightmare), and they were kind enough to mail it to me even though it was international(I have two passports otherwise it would’ve been a real disaster). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Québec

Stayed here in May 2014. Loved the romantic setting of the location and beautifully old-fashioned decorated /well kept rooms. GREAT service! Attentive, polite, helpful. The restaurant at the inn(Le Pain Beni) was THEBEST in the whole Quebec City!

Truly adorable boutique hotel right in the middle of Old Quebec. If you are used to corporate hotels with a mini bar, coffee maker, 24 hour room service, and a gym you’ll never use, this might be your worst nightmare. There is no elevator, but the front desk staff will help you with your bags without complaint and it’s so cozy in the attic rooms(where they stuck us Hotwire people) that you might not want to leave. The hotel restaurant and bar has an awesome deal for breakfast — it’s no longer free as commonly advertised, but instead they offer their regular breakfast menu for $ 7 a person, which includes coffee or espresso. I dare you to find a better deal that isn’t through a drive-thru window! Finally, don’t leave without trying the crazy futuristic shower! It’s almost as fun as avoiding hitting your head in the attic room. Almost.

Let make this simple and quick for folks looking for reviews on this hotel — Find another hotel ! Why? Well great location indeed and this was one of the reasons I booked this place. I stayed here in middle of December, freezing cold and no heater ! — Yes no darn heater — when I called and asked for it to be fixed lady asked if it was really that cold? What? Enough said, in my opinion there are a lot of other hotels to consider.
