Petit pub super sympa! Un hot-dog européen qui m’a ramené 25 ans dans le passé! Staff très gentil et prêt a aidé!

We were here on a very cold day and the first thing I saw was lovely buffalo plaid blankets for customers! What a great touch! The mulled wine was delicious. We ate French onion soup and Croque Monsieur sandwiches. The ambiance was perfection & this is a great little spot for lunch/drinks. I was disappointed that we had to leave – I would’ve loved to stay & enjoy that blanket all afternoon!

Very neat place to stop at for a drink or snack after a walk in Old Town. We wanted to find somewhere with a nice atmosphere to relax and get warm, and I am so glad we picked this place. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful, they had a fireplace on, which made the place warm and cozy. The prices are reasonable for a such a popular tourist spot. We haven’t tried their french onion soup so we’ ll probably go back the second night in a row.

I ended up discovering this place via Unilocal and wish that I hadn’t. I had high hopes going in. After a few hours of shopping in the Old City, we were lured in even more by the sign outside advertising a fire place, hot chocolate, French onion soup, and other items to warm patrons up. We found a seat quickly enough but discovered just as quickly that the aforementioned fireplace was not being used. Not a huge deal. We ordered some drinks to warm up(Irish coffee and hot chocolate) and nachos. It took more than a few minutes for our drinks to arrive. My drink was delicious, I’m told the hot chocolate was watered down. After another 15 minutes, we concluded that our nachos might not be coming and started making plans for another round of drinks and some food. With our drinks exhausted, our nachos arrived both unexpectedly and without apology and our waiter ran off without inquiring about replacement beverages. The nachos were lacking; clearly we should have ordered the French onion soup since bowls of it were traveling here and there. We picked at our disappointing nachos for another 15 – 20 minutes without so much as a visit from our waiter. When he finally returned we asked for the check, paid cash, and got out as quickly as we possibly could. I fear that if we had paid with a card, it might have been another 15 – 20 minutes before we escaped. My girlfriend asked how I was rating Pub Des Borgia. When I replied with my answer her response was: «That’s generous.»

Came in for some drinks and snack. Drinks were good, and so were the snacks. Friendly bartenders also, and a cozy place to hang out for a while(although the seating isn’t exactly comfy) Highly recommend the French onion soup and hot dog.

I’ll give the waitress a pass on being not at all attentive, several parties came in shortly after me and she was alone. That aside, the French onion soup was amazing. If I went again, I would probably choose the smoked meat sandwich with cheese over the non-cheese version. It was good, but what doesn’t taste better with cheese on it? All said, a good spot for lunch and when it is a bit chilly but you still want to eat outside, they provide blankets.

Work in the neighbourhood and go occasionally for lunch, usually I get a European hot dog, I have always found the staff friendly and prices reasonable for what we get

Can’t really speak here but it’s a good location in lower town with some outside patio seating in a variety of beers on tap at reasonable prices
